TheDailyWoo There are crossed palm trees at every In-N-Out franchise! And if you look at the bottom inside rim of your cup there is a scripture printed there. Lots of little secret stuff at In-N-Out!
I lived 3 or 4 blocks from that In-N-out from 1957 - 1959 on W. 10th st and Bristol. My great-grandma lived about 4 city blocks down Civic Center on Westwood. I went to college '75 - '78 at Santa Ana Jr. College (The University of Southern California at 17th and Bristol. LOL. ) We hit the In-N-out often. They've torn out all the houses that lined Bristol. They had been changing into little home businesses like barber shops and flower shops when I was a kid. There was a military base 4 or 5 blocks down Civic Center from Bristol where service men were stationed before being discharged from the army. Bob Hope did a radio show from there. I have it on a record. My great-uncle Holmes was discharged there and walked 2 city blocks to his mother and father's home for a big home cooked meal with the family. Adam where is the park you had your incredible burgers at? I couldn't place it. Is there any chance you could film in that area some more? I grew up in Orange so whatever you film I love! Buena Park is very important to me. My grandfather did some work for Walter Knott. I worked 11 years at Disneyland. Gawd Adam I am SO glad you're back in So Cal!!
Gotta ask for "whole grilled onion" - they will grill you a whole slice. Takes a long time, but totally worth it. Also, neapolitan shakes - they blend all 3 flavors and it is crazy good.
We have an In n Out right here in town, but I haven't been there in several months because of the quarantine. I think I need to pay it a visit today. Drive through of course. 🍔
Thank you so much for this video; fond memories of my old neighborhood in Santa Ana, right in the corner of Bristol St. and Civic Center Dr. Opposite corner across from In N Out. Used to go there all the time. Best Burgers ever...
Quarantined in Chicago and missing those In-N-Out burgers and animal style fries enough to watch a video of a man waiting in a drive-thru lane! Chow down on our behalf!
I remember when you got those rocking chairs to have in Large Marge so you could enjoy some outdoors time when you were out with Large Marge. It is nice to see that they are still being used. I live on the east coast so it was nice to try In n Out when we visited California a few years ago.
Adam, we don't have them back East. That looks so delicious. It's a good thing I'm a huge fan because you guys are making these burgers seem way TOO delicious. I visited an In-N-Out Burger while visiting relatives in Houston. It was great. 🤠😁🍔🍟👏
Yes, we have them in Texas now...even North Texas, my area. However I would have to drive to Dallas/Fort Worth--40 minutes. In my town we have "Whataburger"...which has it's own claim to fame.
My husband and I live in Orange county too! Weve been looking for things to do just to get out, and this is perfect. Thank you for the perfect day out idea! I'd say we do the same with in n out, about once a month. 😍
Those hamburgers looked so good !! I thought when you said you got the animal style fries ... I thought you meant they were in the shape of little animals . HAHAHA...! I didn't know they were fries with a special sauce on them . I've never ate there before . I like Jason's Mr. Rodgers t-shirt that says, " Hello Neighbor " on it . I like your Micky Mouse t-shirt too Adam . My favorite milkshake is a banana and peanut butter milkshake !! Yummy...!! 😊😉
I was born and raised in California but moved to Illinois in 2003...Oh how I miss In N Out Burger...It's one of the first places we hit when visiting back in California.
Hi adam! I live right near the park you were at as well as the in n out. The brick circular area is indeed a firepit! It is used by a lot of people in the area. I enjoy watching your content. You have some of the most interesting, fascinating, informative, and fun content out there. Thank you for creating it for everyone to enjoy.
Enjoyed this vlog...reminded me of my first ever In-N-Out experience three years ago in Oakland, CA. I look forward to enjoying In-N-Out again, perhaps, next year in Texas. Oh, yeah, great idea of using chairs.
Cars backed up at in n out? Yep, things are getting back to normal. Their slogan is "in n out - no delay" There are delays a-plenty at every location!!
You’re in my old neck of the woods! I spent many nights hanging out at that In and Out, and my house was in the neighborhood right behind Jack Fisher Park. Lots of memories at that park 😀❤️ And it was a fire pit 🔥
When I was completing my doctorate degrees in San Diego! I ate In/Out Burger every chance I got! Excellent!!! Great Food! Always Fresh and Excellent!!! :) Great Video as always Adam! :)
Is it because i approach this channel with such a positive attitude that the 16 minutes went by so fast? Idk what it is. I enjoy this content so much that the time fly's by like nothing! I even opt in towards drinking a cup of coffee everyday a video is uploaded so I can enjoy it and be awake while I watch on a work day instead of falling asleep on the couch like I normally would. So much fun. Fun, fun. Live, Love and Peace.
I use to fly out to So-Cal once a year, and I miss In-N-Out Burgers! They are worthy of all the hype. So jealous of you right now. LoL. Thanks for making crave something I can’t get. 😂 -Stephen, Ohio
New subscriber. I have watched about 10 of your videos. Just find it entertaining, and then you share some historical and interesting facts. You are a different kind,..but I can see how many like you.
Hey Adam...I'm really enjoying this series of videos. At one time I owned a business with an office off the 55 in Santa Ana and I have eaten at that particular In-n-Out many many times. Sad that it will be demolished. Hoping you have a trip planned to Pinks in Hollywood at some point. I grew up in Irvine and we used to go eat at a burger place called Knowlwood in Old Town Irvine..is that still around? If it is could it be another worthwhile outing. 🙏
One of the many reasons I want to travel to California. Ive never eaten In- N- Out Burger and had several chances at least while out West to try it but chose other fair. Great vlog as always and thank you for making me want a burger. A good burger! A, In- n- Out Burger! One Day!
Cool to see you're still using the rocking chairs you bought for good old Large Marge. I miss her. I just watched the set of vlogs you made from the day you bought her to going back to your parents house because of the weather. I'll continue the 3 year old vlogs here soon. Love ya man!
Infield Ike MMMMMMMM........SUCULANT😋🍔 I'm literally two cities over from the original In n Out burger joint where it all started, along with the In n Out University in Baldwin Park, while SoCal is saturated with numerous locations, two locations being right around the corner from where I live. lol ...... .AALLLLLL FOR ME *AND NOOOOONE FA Y'ALL*
our location in san fernando next to 405 fwy changed from the smaller to a walk in dine inside restaurant and it is nice..ours was blocking the street and freeway on ramp with the long line.. I always wonder if in and out got cautioned by the cities with there traffic jam lines yet what city wants to hinder a popular establishment who provides a tax base.. Local carls brought along cal classic burger at equivalent price to put up a fight with the double double..
They recently opened one of these a few blocks from my house. Unfortunately, The crowd has never died down enough for me to try them. They literally have one lane of traffic closed to accommodate the super long lines that build up there every day. What amazes me is that the thing opened late last year and it's still so crowded. Hopefully, someday I'll get try one. lol
That’s my favorite kind of burger. Wish we had an In N Out. I had heard of it but not where there was one. Been wondering about it. It looked like it was really good. How were the Animal fries? They looked really good too. I like how they have the drive thru. Thank you for sharing.
I suggest ordering your preferred burger with whole grilled onion and a side of either animal fries or cheese fries (according to your preference). Wash it down with a pink lemonade and/or consider a neapolitan shake for dessert. Also, their coffee is the absolute best - better than a coffee shop but VERY strong. Peep their "secret menu" (on their website) before you go in.
They have them on Bristol Street in Santa Ana, though 😅two separate establishments actually, the one in the video at Civic Center Dr, and another one further down Bristol at McArthur. The one in the video is the historic one, though 🙂
