The first Major is over & the future of CS2 

Anti cheat is biggest desire but more maps are my realistic expectations

CS2 needs to have an economy re-balance. But this major was pretty good. Plus AleksiB has finally proven himself.

We need changes to economy. Double saves should NOT be a thing at all when you have to win only 13 rounds to get a map.

Economy rebalance, bug fixes, optimizations and a better anti-cheat should be, of course, top priority for Valve. But to be honest I would really love to see some new maps and our old beloved ones back. For example, I really enjoyed playing Tuscan back in CS:GO.

BO5 should be the standard for every finals tournament in CS2 now.

Collision Bugs along smooth walls are indeed very jaring.

I think it’s insane to say that MR12 causes more randomness and more upsets when literally the first major we have with MR12, we have the most stacked and competitive playoffs in the history of CS.

faze messed the major up by picking ancient instead of nuke. but anyways it was a fun major to watch

1:14 I am so tired of that particular issue. that, and the related one where player collision gets caught in the ground semi-randomly. it's as if player collision occasionally runs at 1000-tick...

weren't the seasons supposed to be autumn and spring? That is, a season every six months. Doesn't this mean that we won't have a big update today or at least this month?

-Game is still a downgrade and has a lot of issues -Still no 128 tick or AC -Game crashing at the Major and pixel jump glitches like Anubis (Valve said they can't recreate the bug lmao) -BO1 MR13 has to go -Game needs an economy re-balance for MR13.

The jump bug fix and the ANTI-CHEAT (which is very long due; and across all ranks is the biggest issue), need to happen ASAP!

Train for sure will be reintroduced because we could see it in the trailer from 1 year ago when they first announced cs2.

I had Navi winning the whole thing, but because I only got 4 correct in the opening stage, I don't get diamond, but seeing how many people got silver and bronze, I am happy with Navi Gold.

I'm hoping to see more maps for the casual mode. Sometimes we don't play competitive because its sometimes stressful and we just wanna go out there relax, troll, have fun, and not worry about winning or losing. Hoping militia, assault and canals come back. They should also bring back all the maps for arms race cant remember the names the map with snow and verticality. They were fun to play.

I'm hoping for Tuscan to be added to the map pool, if Valve bought the rights I don't see a reason to not put it. Also I was wondering if CS coudn't go from a 7 to 9 maps in the pool, Siege have 9 maps in the pool and Siege maps are a nightmare to learn (multiple site locations, destruction, gadget interactions, etc...)

I don't know if I would say they did well "over all." PGL had internet issues the entire time, and audio issues the entire time. And then had internet issues during the final rounds of the final map. The online viewing experience was not amazing, and it has been this way for their previous 3 majors, including this one. The games delivered, but the TO didn't.

Dust has to come back. CS isn't the same without it

Bo5 finale would be much better. RO12 doesn't really give chance for a comeback as we could see on Mirage and Inferno which made that final little bit weird.

They need a New major Format. BO1 are too random with MR12. If they want to have a BO1 make it only the first game, but everything BO3 after that. Also Final should be BO5

I am finally done with Premier recently I started getting full team with aimbots just trolling.

I really hope they bring way more updates and fix the cheater problem... the game is so boring rn, noting crucial changes, really hoped the time were we had no gameplay, maps or weapon updates is gone with CS2...

IIRC Valve said that they would be changing 1 map in the map pool after every major, I could be misremembering but I’m fairly certain

Folks does your region valve official servers also have loss ? My region specifically both indian servers have approx 10-15% loss . I tested my connection to the internet with packet capture no loss . Only when i connect to the valve official server

Mr12 needs to go imo. And if they don't want mr15 maybe bo5 bc it gives a bit more depth. This major tinal showed how mr12 sucks when u start t side on most maps. Faze blew out navi on mirage and then navi started on ct on inferno and guess what? 1 way traffic. This needs to be adressed.

Maxim PLEASE signal boost the fact that Italy is not in the 5v5 map pool. revamping the entire map for CS2 only to leave it in casual 10v10 only is criminal when you consider Office is already in the 5v5 pool.

Its not just above 20k rating, i have several accounts with a low trust factor and always get reported (3k elo faceit) and people are spinbotting everywhere, im still pretty sure there is kind of a trust factor because on some accounts its way worse than on others

After every major, delete the most played and the less played map, and get 2 new one (or 2 old)

Personally I'd much rather see new maps we haven't had in the pool yet. Season is one of my favorites but I wouldn't mind them putting other community maps. Cache was never that good, cobble is terrible, train is good but give new maps a chance.

They should focus on fixing the ak witch is unplayable and fixing the weird movement. I played csgo today and I almost cried what they did to the game:[ Cs:go felt fast and responsive but when i play cs2 i feel like im in the past and nothing works there as it supposed to

I got it right almost every game but I didn't know that you had to activate the pass before choosing...

Its all cool and awesome seeing the games making people motivated that talent comes with effort and they hop on a game just to play against spinbot/rage hackers. The game will not grow if they dont fix the cheater problem one way or another

Valve better update VAC system, a lot worse than previous launching cheaters everywhere and inferno i think need more rework map should get bigger since smoke more blossom and widely change, and fix some bugs and last but not the least rework old map and replace vertigo, mirage, & ancient

"The future of CS2" is not CS3, that's for sure.

i do love mirage but it needs a complete overhaul imo, not just a fresh coat of paint. compared to inferno it looks so, so dated. The APC in CT could be in half life.

Future of cs in deep shit game itself is dogshit. mr12 is bullshit, games are blink of an eye...this isnt competitive anymore. No comeback potentials, less team game required, running long range shotguns etc. the game is joke

I don't want to see any maps coming back - I would much rather see a totally new map take the place of inferno, this is a new game after all, we don't need to go back to GO maps - I think the only old map that would be fun to see brought back would be tuscan, because it never really saw play in GO, and furthermore it's been so long since it was played it's basically a whole new map

I swear even a nobody like me who have zero experience in running a big company like Valve would be able to fix 90% of the current CS2 issues like anti-cheat, game modes, etc. within a month period if Valve ever decided to hire me as their CEO. I would get their lazy asses up and working and fire anybody who opposes me in anti-cheat matter because unlike them, i actually have passion for the game and love the game.
