Unfortunately, being the worse out if the two rock-entries this year, there was no chance we’d do well… I also have a feeling that the televotes were kinda skewed this year because of Israels participation… but thia is another can of worms im not gonna answer today
@@augustrnning7823ye the same voting cursed happened to Benjamin(Hoida Mut) in the 2023 finnish selection. Kaarija got so much of the televote and since they are both party songs the other votes didnt go to Benjamin
I know, on a technical level it's not the best song and I really wish TIX would have performed it in norwegian, but as someone who still struggles with the believe that because of my own (mental) issues I don't deserve the good things and people in my life, Fallen Angel touches me in a way very, very few other songs do. The moment where he puts off the glasses will never not get me like hell. Also even though the whole Russia-situation was und will continue to be messy for at least the next few years, a small condolence is that they left with a banger of a song, Russian Woman is the best woman power-song in the history of ESC fight me
I actually loved the Irish entry, I just wish they would have checked that she could actually sing while being in movement but I like the idea of the staging! I still like the Norwegian entry but I'm still bitter he switched it to English for the final of MGP and ESC, I felt like the Norwegian version had more emotion

Can I ask why Mans seems to be such a polarizing character? Some people really really love him, and it seems just as many seem to really really dislike him. Is there some kind of drama surrounding him? I thought he was just a really big fan of Eurovision and loves performing. (I'm Canadian, just asking because I legit don't know lol. Thank you)
in my case i'm just joking! he manages to show up in every single eurovision year somehow (hasn't missed a single year since 2015, maybe 2023 if you dont count the image how showed up in on stage) and it annoys some eurofans 😭

Kat talked about this in their community post, the singer (can't remember her name) is very anti-Putin and Russia in general. Apparently they left Russia after they invaded Ukraine.
