Ten years is worth celebrating. My second husband and I just celebrated ten years of marriage. Both of us were married 34 years to our first spouses. That seemed monumental, but it’s much harder after losing your life partner to start over. Your faithfulness to keep at something that requires so much is amazing. I had a channel for just a short while. I read bedtime stories to children. Then I edited them. It was too much at my age, but it was a joy. Congratulations on sticking with it for that long. You have grown up considerably since the beginning. You’ve experienced the hardships of life on this broken planet. You’ve found joy and shared it. You’ve lived sorrow and shared it. Suggestion: I think you should celebrate your personal growth and adventure and make a montage showing quick snapshots of you and your morphed landmarks over the years - weather that means your clothes and hair styles, place of business, home location, cars, furniture, gardens, etc. Whatever says "Elise". I think it would be a lot of fun to watch, although a ton of work for you. What a reason and season to celebrate! Thank you for all your hard work and motivation, I truly enjoy your channel.

Elise, I just want you to know that I absolutely love all your videos! I fell into the “shabby chic” style about twenty five years ago and I’ve never left it. Know it’s called Bohemian style and I still love it. It’s basically the same without so many pastels. I live in the America ( a very Southern part of America ), years ago I drove to Canada with my Mother and Father to get the belongings out of a house my daddy had inherited from his great Aunt. It was a very very long trip, but it ended up changing the direction of my life. My Great Aunt had never married and I was about 23 ( I didn’t marry until I was 33 ) at the time and when we opened the front door I fell in love. She had been a seamstress all her life and had saved so many memories from her life, it was like walking back in history to the late 1800’s/1900’s. The furniture, dishes, gorgeous fabrics, beautiful lamps and Nick nacks as well as porcelain items and books and the most gorgeous velvet rugs. It was a moment that changed my life forever. Like you, I was very young, but I knew that I wanted those things in my life forever and I did just that. Adding things from vintage shops and yard sales along the way. I think I should have been born in the early 1930’s. I feel like I don’t belong in this era. (I’m 75 by the way). Anyway, I pray that you never lose your love for vintage and Bohemian things. You will find great solace from the beautiful things of the past. I’m so thankful that I found your channel, it and of course you, bring me so much joy. Your country is absolutely gorgeous, I love when you take us on your vintage shopping journeys. May God Bless and keep you and yours in the years to come. Oh, I wish you luck in finding your new home for your business, I feel that it will be absolutely perfect when you do. 💕
