Making Iris the team leader was just a forced attempt to try and make her seem important. She knows none of the science the other team members do, has hardly ever been out in the field and gets kidnapped and nearly killed on the rare times she does, has no weapons, gadgets, fighting skills or powers to defend herself with and has no personality or character beyond "Barry's wife."

100% of the fight scenes are Barry running up to the bad guy and starting a talk with them instead of taking them to star labs, knocking them out, or taking their weapon. I think the complete opposite. When season three hit, they started to become romantic. I feel like Iris and Barry were just too much. They didn't need to be in a relationship, especially since they grew up together, technically as siblings. I just think it's too much, and she sorta ruined season three and four (I haven't seen five yet), Barry could've done much better. The creater didn't need to add them as a couple honestly. Because it adds too much drama and away from the whole point of the show.

Barry doesn’t do science of the csi stuff since the show needs a use for the other characters. Iris is team leader because they were down a man with Barry gone and Caitlin leaving the team. Left to Wally, Vibe, and Iris. Vibe needs to be in the field to help Wally since they need e meta power, and as such they need an extra. Iris fits this and becomes the Desk leader making the teams strategies while they are in the field. Iris likely did well so they kept her in this position. The show however doesn’t really make her come off as a good leader. At least if they mentioned something or her being stressed with a new flow of team with Frost and Barry back it would be fine. Iris being real leader works fine, the show just has done a crap job at show it.

Every episode ever - Barry and Iris have some relationship problem - Cisco interrupts it “barry! There’s another bad guy who has something to do with dark matter or the particle accelerator! - barry goes to fight the bad guy - the bad guy wins - Nora wants to come - barry doesn’t want her to come - iris tells barry to let her come - they fight them again but this time they run in a different direction -they beat the bad guy - barry and iris sort out their relationship issues

Rooselande Medina LoL it’s mostly a joke but some of it is true. Anyway I know that your one of those people that’s like “OMG FLASH BEST SHOW EVER ANY FLASH THAT DOESNT HAVE GRANT GUSTIN IS STUPID” but you have to acknowledge the show follows the same formula most of the time and keeps getting worse and worse. Also Nora is in almost every episode, she’s become the main character of a show that isn’t even hers and Barry is pushed to the sidelines.

AnnMarie Kerr it’s based on the dc comics characters.. It’s a original story... Most of the dc tv shows or movies are like that too...Btw “they got nothing else right” really Barry struck by lightning and gained his power when he was doing some forensics stuff, the suits are more accurate then the movie, Barry is with Iris, the biggest flash villain is RF, the superhero name of Barry is the Flash, etc. I can name more if you like...If you want comic book accuracy watch the cartoon versions... The cartoon movies are really good..

Hekaro Gaming last episode was fantastic because it was so different. He had to freeze time by vibrating fast to stop a nuclear bomb from going off. He only had a few seconds to do it, but stretched it to hours with severe physical drain. Nothing like that pattern.

Jack Timothy You mean that show that takes the heroes from Arrow and The Flash, so they can go on a ass-pull mission to stop vandal savage, and later die for something that wasn’t inevitable, which in turns makes their death for nothing. Once a hero is in this show they’re guaranteed to die. It’s a graveyard show.

The thing that makes Flash a cut above the other CW shows are the villains. Reverse Flash, Zoom, Savitar, Cicada, all amazing and genuinely threatening to Barry personally. Okay... thinker was a bit of a damp squib but it was refreshing to have a bad guy who outthought Barry rather than physically dominated him.

Deplo Muda. Watched season one, cant watch any more. The idea that Barry is as fast as he is yet the guy with the ice gun is still a threat is beyond stupid. I mean, if he can be shot by an ice gun he can be shot by any gun. As fast as he is shown to be theres no way that guy should be able to aim and fire before Barry disarmed him. The show regularly ignores its own internal logic just to advance plots they didnt think out well enough then resolves those plots by again ignoring the logic they have already ignored just to get there.

I think I discovered some of the bigger problems with the Flash. For starters, there’s so many characters, that Barry doesn’t feel like the main character anymore. In the start, you had Barry, Cisco, Caitlin, and Wells, with the supporting cast Joe, Iris and Eddy. Now we have Barry, Cisco, Caitlin, Frost, Every Wells in existence, Iris, Joe, Captain Sing, the two girls who work for Iris (I forgot their names), Cecile, and Ralph. *Spoilers for this next part* A second issue, season six went *WAY* overboard and introduced like 5 different plot lines. You have crisis, Black Hole, that case that Ralph’s following (I forgot the girl’s name), Bloodwork, the Speedforce dying, Eva Mcculloch, and Nash having the other Wells in his head. I do recognize that there are more problems with the show, but these are just two of the more prominent ones.

I would say that between the mid of season 1 and the mid of season 2 the Flash was one of my favorite shows. However I dropped the show after season 3 because I feel like shows quality declined.

Yeah The Flash is a weird show. But in a good way. I feel like it’s a show only people who like dramas or comic books, like me, really enjoy. There is a whole bunch of interesting details they add after the first episode and introduce minor characters from comics. An example of a minor detail they added was the Flash always being late. He’s had that character trait since his introduction in the 60’s. Like you said The Flash is weird but the source material of comic books are way weird so it makes sense a tv show based on a comic book would be odd. I just found your channel and I don’t know how I never seen it before now, it’s pretty awesome
