To move faster, you need to train with the intent of building speed. When performing plyometrics and regular exercises, it's crucial to explode into the movements and not just go through the motions. This not only develops fast twitch fiber, but also improves rate of force development and builds the right neural pathways.
Adding resistance can also benefit this, though precisely how much is something I'll discuss in more detail in this post. We also need to think about how this translates to sprinting, and how to adopt the right gait and technique.
But that's just one aspect of training like the Flash! The cool thing about the character is that he also able to think and react faster, and perform all kinds of other "superfast" tasks.
