I love how Savitar moves so fast that comparing him to Barry is like comparing Barry to a normal human. Barry can only see flashes of light and regular people can’t even see anything. That’s terrifying.
Say what you want about Savitar and season three as a whole, But this is truly freaking awesome. This man shows up, monologues about how he’s a god and then actually PROVES it by making flashs speed look like a joke. Truly one of the most badass moments in the entire show.
@@Oliver-ft2fq nah he absorbed the power he lent them, sending them back to their timelines, or at least if they did they would have just gone back to their moments in time and died
@@Spyciality You speak like that is canon, which is not. They were brought back because history was rewritten which means they are *exactly as powerful* as they were when plucked out of that particular moment in time, no more no less. It's just lazy writing as a finale episode because obviously they had to be brought down. The explanation of their victory is much more simple, the heroes became stronger in the last 4-5 seasons than the original villains were way back. Same thing usually happens in most shows/anime that has timetravel or similar events taking place. Take Naruto for example, Team Shikamaru vs Sound Four. Happens in Naruto and Naruto Shippuden while the latter, they wop their @ss without breaking a sweat because they have advanced while the others been stuck in time so to say (zero progress).
@Rufus Sundaram they probably had to do what they did to cut costs, like how they can only do one or two episodes of grodd or king shark for a whole season because it costs a lot to do 3d animations like that, and savitar was a main villain for an entire season so workarounds had to be made.
Savage clasher 7.8 exactly, on the comics he absorbs other speedsters speed and is faster than savitar but on season 5 the writer made Godspeed a fucking ass, also the fastest speedster is black flash then Eobard thawn then Godspeed and then savitar and etcétera
@@Maotrix-RandomGameStuff Seriously the GODSPEED STORY LINE HASNT ENDED SO HES STILL NOT IN HIS FULL POTENTIAL THATS WHY HE CANNOT DO THAT😫 The writers KNOW what are they doing
I think that it was so hilarious that they kept on asking him "who are you?" And he kept on saying I am the future flash he literally was telling them who he was. Love the writer for this
3:15 This is what made me know Savitar was going to be the strongest villain. After 2 seasons of slow motion Barry running while everything else was standing still, we see slow mo Barry run while Savitar just becomes a blur. That's insane.
Didn't Savitar become a lot slower when he was released from the Speedforce? When they fought him in the Season 3 finale the Speedsters seemed to be able to keep up with him? I though he was only that fast in the beginning because he was trapped in the Speedforce and therefore wasn't really in the physical world (I didn't quite understand the logic).
@@JellisX891 Seriously where do you get these claims that Savitar wasn't trapped in the speed force. Even Savitor himself said that Tracy Brand developed a speed bazooka which future flash used to trap Savitar into the speed force. Remember when Wally accidentally set Savitar free from the speed force? Even Savitar stated that Wally took his place in the speed force as prisoner hence the reason why Savitor was free. Seriously, do you watch this show with your ears closed or does the dialogue enter one part of your ear and then immediately comes out on the other ear?
@@eddiembabaali2382 I just started watching season 6, but personally Bloodwork (Ramsey) is an amazing villain and a huge upgrade from Cicada. Haven't fully formed my opinion on season 6 since I'm only a few episodes in but so far I'm loving it.
I’ve had this idea for a long time as a rewrite for Savitar. Instead of just being a clone of Barry, he actually is the god of speed. All of these abilities are part of his skills instead of conditional advantages. The suit isn’t even a suit and is his actual body. He was a normal person who got speed powers like Barry, but went down a path of greed to get faster. (Generic speedster framework I know.) He enthralls himself in the speed force and becomes “one” with it in a sense. Instead of trying to steal it using technology, he gave his whole self to it and became a god. And his whole motivation is to create a cult of speedsters to worship him. They either join the cult or be destroyed and their speed subsumed into his own. He wants the flash to join his cult because he would be, by far, Savitar’s most powerful supplicant.
Sooo...comics savitar? This savitar is an amalgam of comics savitar and a Barry Allen from a new 52 story and the Speedforce part of savitars story is a new thing for this show
To be fair it's literally the same thing but just him being a god. Him having his own cult wasnt his true purpose but he did have one and was doing that exact same thing. What you're explaining is savitar if he'd won. Cause thats exactly what wouldve happened after if he won in s3. Greed did take him down this path. He wanted to become a god. You basically instead of wrote a new story just continued the original.
the fucking joke of a battle in the finale brought me here, i would actually prefer the flash somehow overpowering all the villains alone with his speed and win and take it just as a sign that he actually grow up and became faster even tho it does not make alot of sense still it would make me happier than the joke of a battle that happened in the finale what a pity.
@@sh_2426nah zoom’s defeat was amazing, barry using the time remnant to stop his plan, then barry finally beating him 1v1, and then the time wraiths finally catching up to him and turning him into black flash, it was perfect
I don't think people truly comprehend how fast Savitar truly was at this point in time compared to Barry. Not only was Barry seeing flashes of light as a Speedster compared to normal humans who couldn't see anything when perceiving Savitar. Who was so incredibly fast that he could dip in and out of the SpeedForce at-will traveling to different locations around the world while compared to Barry who would have to run in circles long enough or far enough with speed to open a portal into the SpeedForce.
@@dragonlord4252I was a kid and I loved the flash 1 to 3 seasons but once when season 4 came out I just stopped watching it and I think that's a good thing I don't want to ruin one of my greatest things in my childhood.
I know and the radar would instantly light up all the places at once but that's all too boring. You wouldn't be able to visually represent that. Unless Everything froze. (that would be a good but then again hard too hard to comprehend or make it interesting)
Loved Savitar here. Completely outmatched The Flash, he was like 10x as fast. Actually felt like a God. And then they nerfed him to the same level as Barry or even slower without the suit. Also the suit got smaller. Bummer.
Kapeesh yeah they ruined savitars character. idk why they thought another evil speedster was a good idea if they weren't even going to make him as savage as Zoom. like zoom was a literal serial killer with speed powers. how can Savitar be scarier than that.
Somebody pointed out that Flash seemed to make Season 3 a retrospective culmination just like Arrow Season 5 was, except it wasn't as impactful because this story line was too early. They should've done Savitar as as Season 5 villain, with non speedsters for 3 and 4, because the speedster villain concept felt too repetitive to do 3 in a row of. Now Season 3's writing was also bad, but the Savitar concept was just mistimed. Also, they were too ambitious. They were originally going to do Savitar as full CGI for the entire season, but they didn't have the budget for it, which is why his scenes were so few until he got a physical suit. But the physical suit was all wonky because it made him smaller, and despite having abs, gained a round belly, and the suit was more sluggish moving physically. They should've held off on Savitar till Season 5 when they would have likely had a better budget to actually do a full CGI main villain. So yeah, this could have been something far greater.
Oh yeah for sure, it did not make sense. I was just lamenting that despite it not making sense writing and story wise, having Savitar happen later could've been impactful. But indeed, it really can't cover up bad writing. i was just listing all the other things that went wrong with Savitar besides the actual plot related to him.
I love the holy music when savitar is dragging flash around the world and the thinking about that flash has been dragged like a doll by every one reverse flash zoom savitar
did you notice that at one point he was dragged by the neck, and beaten harder than ever (season 1,2,3 and 4) then came out like he was sucker-punched by a 10 year old
Its the same reason Worf was always getting beaten up. If you want your villain to be intimidating, get them to best the big guy. Or in this case, out run him.
Savitar vs Zoom would have been epic ! Zoom wanted a scary, dark and emotion-less version of Barry right ? Then boy if only he'd seen Savitar and the evil Barry Allen !
The amount of times Savitar said who he was and the fact that the team still lost in every timeline besides this one, simply because they didn't know Savitar's Identity is just sad.
@thatze3836 zoom was a fucking boss-level demon back in season 2 lyk dude was a single-most feared being on 2 earths and got 1-shotted that easily 🤦♂️💔💀
Naa, savitar was litrally portrayed by the production team to be DC's Thanos. Savitar new every possible outcome and problem that can come his way because he already lived it and he was from the future. And theres nothing in the world more scarier then a man that knows everything.
*gets dragged and beaten faster than the speed of light* “Had enough?” “Not even close.” Yet in S4-S6 when he gets hit kinda hard by a villain of the week he’s just down for the fucking count.
@Diego Saucedo JR Why was the reverse flash then killed and scared of the black flash? Well there is an answer to that, de reverse flash matches the flash his powers. Everytime te flash gets faster he gets faster during season 1 the RF wasnt faster then savitar nor zoom. But he is slightly faster then barry and that will always be that way because of how their powers connect. Everytime barry gets faster he gets faster.
@@gilbertluong3526 kinda. yes savitar is fast because of the speed force, but thats because hes using it like a teleporter, going in and out of his prison combined with his absurd speed. when hes out of the prison he cant tap into as much speed force and he cant teleport
Hello I am from the future and uhhh spoiler alert as well. Our boy savitar returned in the final season of the flash but the writters did him rlly dirty 😢
I love that it goes back to what they were getting at in season 2 where the speed at which the speedsters run has nothing to do with how “fast” they actually run: Savitar has so thoroughly mastered the speed force that his strides look smooth and effortless, yet he attains higher speeds than any before or since.
Me dejas tocar tu piel, mientras te beso la boca Quiero que se repita la ocasión!!! Quiero que repitas tu movimiento Bebé que tal si paramos el tiempo y le damos con la situación ?
@Zoom meh it's half and half godspeed is pretty slow in general. But when he starts to absorb people's speed that's when the word god actually means something. But hopefully they don't bring him to the CW until at least season 8 or 9 because there is still a lot of old villains I would love them to bring in👍👍👍
I remember being an ecstatic 13 year old just in awe at savitars CGI design. Holy shit it was menacing, terrifying, well proportioned, and just plain evil
I personally theorize that only Speedsters can see him because he's vibrating so fast that normal human eyes/brains can't process it. This also means he's vibrating so fast, even though Speedsters can see him they can't see the distortion from his vibrations like with Reverse Flash
"My name is Barry Allen, and I'm the fastest man alive.... except for Zoom... and Savitar... and Rival... and sometimes Reverse Flash... oh, yeah and now Kid Flash, too... In fact, there are actually quite a few men faster than me, but I do my best... ... I just wasn't fast enough..." /tear XD
In the comics, that's probably true - but in the TV series, Zoom was faster and Wells stated that Wally was faster than Barry was at his point in the training (though admittedly not maybe head to head in their current forms) :-D
Sean Alfonso Jaca saying “I am the future, Flash” implies that savitar was saying he was the future and then stating his enemies name while in the second line he was actually saying that he was the flash from the future
More like Savitar is what a Warframe should look like. High Def, bad ass high particle/detailed effects... Not the low detail bullshit that we get because of console peasants ruining the dream of PCframe. Not to mention the badass musical score he gets while running.
something about the slow run when ever other speedster’s movements are speed up just makes him feel so much more powerful, the fact that he’s just warping from one place to another was such a cool edition
1:05 *would have looked really cool if Flash after falling on the ground said to the guy “he’s too fast”, and then it zooms on the guy’s face contorted with terror, cause Flash himself said that. Would have been a very badass way to introduce Savitar.*
He lost the power due to being free of the Speedforce, he was this fast because he was in the Speedforce which gave him a major advantage, once he left, he lost a lot of speed.
@@JolyneVR While true, I really hate this explanation. They could've kept Savitar as powerful as he was and made Killer Frost more vital by having her be the reason he gets "nerfed" but not really by idk she emits cold particles(as far as the show goes this is less bullshit than 99% of their explanations or lack of) or something that slows speedsters around her down a considerable amount, making Wally much more important. With this they can really empasize him being super important to the season by truly making him a faster base speedster than Barry(let alone give Wally the tachyon enhancer), letting him relatively keep up with Savitar will make losing him to the trap set by Savitar a really really big Oh Fuck Oh no moment. In the final episodes Barry gets a big power boost by doing the same thing Savitar did which is trapping himself in the Speed Force, this basically keeps everything that happens in the season till Season 4 but u know not sucking and we also get an epic god speedster battle inside the speed force.
Acually, he is 2nd fastest speedster in the show. Just behind the god of speed. But Barry already outran every other speedster. Well... To be fair, we didn´t see RF top speed.
I think I know why only speedsters can see Savitar. Maybe Savitar vibrates himself faster than the speed of light making it impossible for normal people to see him. But for speedsters, everything moves in slow motion. So to Barry's eyes Savitar isn't moving too fast to see which is why he can see him.
i think its far simpler than that... Flash seems to see him in the same way that non speedsters see Flash. quite simply: as fast as Flash is to non-speedsters, is how much faster Savitar is compared to him. essentially Flash in this case is a non-speedsters watching a speedster.
2:33 See Zach…THAT is how you portray a speedster moving fast with long strides…your way really only works in that rewinding time scene in Justice League
I remember watching this when I was little with my dad and in complete awe in how ridiculously fast savitar was Then on he remains one of my favorite villains
