Seriously, the amount of detail you put into it from history and lore from all areas is incredible. You could put a book together, I'm sure. I've found no other channel that does this this deeply and this broad. It's awesome.

what a rich collection of Hawthorn lore. Thanks so much. I knew little of Hawthorn until I was carving a path through the thick fern gulch aside the winter creek where I live and found a lone, twisty tree standing in the middle of my proposed walking track. Something told me that was a special one and I went out of my way to weave the track around, leaving the tree encircled and untouched. I soon came to learn that the tree was called Hawthorn, the fairy sentinel, and I came to understand what dark curses I had narrowly sidestepped by twisting my path around the enchanted tree.

Hawthorns are incredibly special, and then you get that odd one... and just know there is something Otherworldly about it. They give off a feeling. I don't blame you for stepping around, it's an instinctive thing. Thank you for your tale, adding to the folklore. Have a great day :)

I was out hiking with an olde friend. I stumbled and got scratced by a hawthorn I have a scar from it. I believe that the unseelie welcomed me into their comforting embrace that day. I still honour the unseelie to this day. Thank you for such wonder knowledge. ❤

Thank you for your support and kind words :) It's strange how we get introduced to the Fae, some people have such interesting stories. I don't think we can ever truly understand their realm, but the glimpses we get are truly fascinating :)

I love the hawthorn in May. The flowers are just beautiful, as are the tiny exquisite leaves and the red berries. My favourite shrub and tree,

Love them dearly. Have seen several native American species, and the plantings of English hawthorn (both white and pink) found in Reno, Nevada. The English hawthorn has magnificent fluting along the trunk.

They are beautiful trees. We used to live on the edge of a National Park that is full of Hawthorn. One year we watched a family group in the woodlands collecting the berries for jams and jellies and home remedies. It was fascinating.
