Me and my brother just spent like 30 straight hours addicted to this game. All we did was cave and fight no buildings haha i don’t even game at all but for some reason we both got this game. The experience with him was a 10/10

I was always under the impression co-op was basically required to stand a chance in this game, but apparently not. Going to buy it and try it out. Thanks for the review. Edit: and it's only $6 on steam right now!

I bought this game about a week ago and ive loved every bit of it my friends find it boring but i find it absulutely fun i spent more than 90 hours Maybe more im not gonna over exaggerate but this game has been the best survival game ive ever played and thats kinda something for a game that came out like 6 years ago graphics are great gameplay is great caves have the right amount of exploration but overall i cant wait for the sons of the forest

My dude, if you think that this is a good survival game you gotta play Subnautica. The first subnautica, Not the second one. Now, That's the first survival game I've ever played but it might be my favorite game ever. If you have any interest at all in the survival genre and you want a game that just has an awesome story and really awesome survival mechanics with a really fun building aspect, on top of multiple different biomes to explore (also it's kinda scary) I could not recommend Subnautica enough. You will not be disappointed! 😁

It's not like any other survival game. It's a horror game. Not for the faint hearted.

I mean, you do you but that's a really stupid way to try and label an entire genre of games. Like have you even tried something like Subnautica or The Forest? Because Subnautica by itself is probably one of the best games ever made. So if you try to judge an entire genre simply because it's a 'survival game' then maybe the problem is you. Or perhaps you haven't tried any of the really good ones...either way, you sound pretty ignorant.

I loved it at first, but then it was like "oh boy, another cave". Looking at the forest thru the trees - I think what the game was really about in its peak was finding exploits and enjoying them before the devs discovered them and patched it, thus making the game pointless to play. I mean, there's a fine line between "exploit" and "strategy" that they clearly blew right past. It's like Dwight Schrute took over design.

I give it 7 out of 10. 7 Days To Die is a little better, and way more creepy. The Forest is loads of fun.

Wanted a cool survival game, what I got is is one of the buggiest non stop immersion breaking games I have ever played. The combat is awful and the building aspect sucks. Only spent 7$ but i think if I lit that money on fire instead of spending it on this garbage I'd get more enjoyment. Never taking a RU-vidrs review seriously again.
