The Forgotten Gran Turismo 

Lack of Career mode is easily the reason why I choose to play GT4 instead of GTPSP

I've played this game on-and-off for about four years. It's been my go-to simulator for when I want to copy driving techniques used by professionals irl, and practicing them gave me an idea of just how intricate yet mesmerizing the art of driving is. I learned how to drift (traditional and four-wheel drift), rotate through a corner, do a bunch of handbrake turns, throttle control, etc. I never bothered with the license tests so I went through a bunch of cars, did laps on various circuits, and that's how I got good at the game. I agree with the idea that no modern-day mobile racing game today tops it; not even Assoluto comes close. I still feel proud of the 8'50 and 8'52 laps around the Nür with the FC GT-X using normal tires. That was one of the tracks I've always wanted to master. All this just to say, I've moved on from the game because...I've grown out of it. But for new players, I highly recommend it if the lack of career mode isn't a major setback.

I love the focused text-on-vid explanations imbibed here. Takes me back to the early '2010s vibes, when this was a thing. It's a beautiful style of narration. PSP exclusives from popular franchises deserve their recognition. Keep it up! 💪🏼

how exactly did they manage to compress 800+ cars into 1GB ? like how many megabytes would 1 car be ?

Even DTM Race Cars had a carrer mode, but due to the amount of cars and tracks that impresses me to this day, i love GT PSP a good game to step away from competetive racing and go to a more calm side,that no matter your position, you always win something

Gran Turismo 2009 PSP is more like a remix A mixture of Gran Turismo 1, 2, and 3 based on Gran Turismo 4 with the taste of Gran Turismo 5

im thinking if instead not making one at all for psvita it wouldve been nice if they released a big expansion of gtpsp

waiting to see the new cars like ferrari moded into Gran Turismo 4, they will fit perfect as it is almost the same game

There was also an Army of Two (not sure if exclusively made) for the PSP. Would you be able to make a video on it?

definitely not the best, but surely there is a lot of wasted potential in there and if you just want to do arcade races is super fun, and the ai is great (most of the times)

i dont really think gtpsp is one of the best gts, content wise it has a lot but you dont really work towards anything with the career... great portable game
