I also remember that silver age Superman was able to move planets and had to be careful when sneezing and also Superman was extremely intelligent like his father Jor El. While Lex Luthor was more intelligent but was at the top of human intelligence-- Superman was also intelligent at a certain level in regards to Kryptonian technology. Batman is not that intelligent as Lex Luthor but had more of a variety of skills as a detective and owner of his father's company. Wayne Enterprises. I believe that DC's silver age was the best of them all. Superman was overpowered.
