Your channel is legit one of the best little discoveries i made recently. Your sound card reviews are very nice. Hope you can get your hands on an Onkyo SE-300 and review it someday.

Why thank you! This is one one the nicest comments I've had in a while! Thank you!!! And I've started looking for an Onkyo here in The Netherlands. But they are very hard to find.

Hey, I really wish I can get reply from you. I have used long time Asus Xonar Phoebus and I have upgraded to Elite Pro 2 Gaming Headset + SuperAmp. The SuperAmp isn't good and I just want to know what is your recommandation to use for cs2 gaming and everyday audio listening experience for soundcard? I am looking to know and reply to get your opion and suggestion? I haven't actually used anything else sound cards really. Currently the audio from the SuperAmp is coming from the Optical S/PDIF output from msi mpg z390 gaming pro carbon atx motherboard. Is there anything new soundcard in market that beats the old trusty Asus Xonar Phoebus?

Sorry! I was really busy with my regular job (as an IT manager) and I just couldnt find the time to answer any comment! Hope it's not too late, but here it is: I remember the time when Turtle Beach was the audio equipment to get. I mean, it was what the cool guy had. But what I understand from you is that the audio is kinda bad! I've tried the Phoebus two times and they both were horrible build quality. I haven't found anything better since. Are you looking for an internal or external soundcard? For external I could recommend the Fosi K5 PRo (made a review about that one) and for internal I can recommend the Asus Raid Strix Pro. I also made a video about that series as well. I currently use the Creative Super Xfi Theather as my gaming headset. A video about that one will follow soon. I kinda like it! It's one of the better wireless headphones. Does this help you?

I have tested a Fosi on my channel a long long time ago, but not the Q4, but the Q5 and it was in this old video (it took me a time to find as well) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Y3TxCJ2PX7c.html

Can I use it with my laptop for 5.1 channel speakers and connect a Hi-fi Amp with it too? ? If yes, How? Please advise!

It is a stereo amplifier ... so no 5.1. It is a hi-fi amplifier.

@@Douglas_Blake_579 So, what the best solution [external sound card with/without Amplifier] do you suggest to connect 5.1 Speakers with Laptop? Please advise!!! My only concern is to connect my Laptop with 5.1 Speakers through Hi-Fi Amplifier. Waiting for a prompt and positive response at your end.

@@iq2823 The recommendation will depend on what kind of speakers you intend to hook up ... if you're talking a desktop system I would say "don't waste your money" get a nice pair of self-powered stereo speakers with bluetooth connectivity and call it a day. (Edifier and AudioEngine are good choices here) If the hi-fi amplifier you are connecting to is stereo, you can likely do it with the headphone jack on the laptop and s simple patch cord over to the stereo amp. Alternatively pick up a medium priced USB to Stereo adaptor. The software will do the decoding for you. For a full 5.1 setup... At minimum you will need a USB connected 5.1 external sound card. There are lots of choices for that, shop around and buy one from the middle of the price range. If you already have the amplifier and speakers, all you need is the patch cords to hook it up. Amazon Basics is your best bet for the cords. If you're talking about building a home theatre setup well then you can go from modest to crazy with all kinds of choices in between... Since you have 6 channels you will need 3 stereo amplifiers or 1 home theatre amplifier. The V3 and A07 are good choices for the 3 x stereo option. There are lots of AV amplifiers ranging from cheap and dirty to totally exotic, so you will need to establish a budget and stick to it. Three A07s will cost you about $300 ... the full on high end AV amplifier could cost you well over $10,000 ... so shop carefully. My suggestion would be to look at the something in the middle of the bottom half of the price range... too cheap and it sounds like too cheap... to expensive almost guarantees divorce with little or no gain in sound quality. In a home theatre setup the speakers you choose ill make the most difference. Again shop in the middle of the lower half of the price range. Elac, Fluance and Polk audio are good choices here.

@@AntonsHardware Something to keep in mind is that the 2200uf caps are being refreshed about 40,000 times a second by the SMPS, rather than the paltry 120 times a second for linear supplies. This allows a lot better bang for the buck with surprisingly small caps. 2200 is plenty.
