The original song "Garota de Ipanema" (The Girl from Ipanema) was originally written by Vinicius de Moraes and performed by Antônio Carlos Jobim. Frank Sinatra gave it a go eventually as well along with hundreds of other artists as well. The actual girl from Ipanema is still alive to this very day and her name is Heloísa Eneida de Menezes Paes Pinto. Lol love it! Also Fresh Prince is definitely diverse in musical choices from Tom Jones and Frank Sinatra to Heavy D, Boyz 2 Men etc. The 90's was a really great time.

Kids of the 80's and 90's didn't realize how lucky they were. 2000 onward and kids programming went down the toilet. There was the odd half decent show here and there but no where near as much as during those past decades.

The last great sitcoms from the 2000s and 2010s that were anywhere near close to the greatness of the 90s shows were The Boondocks, Girlfriends, My Wife & Kids, The Bernie Mac Show, Malcolm In The Middle, According To Jim, George Lopez, Everybody Hates Chris and The Middle.
