Ik this is a weird opinion but I can't help but add it... smoked gouda is closer to me than Jesus could ever be and I most definitely am directly referring to my spirituality
They should make an Almost Friday skit about this lol. A date where someone is super oblivious to all the red flags and confuse them with other things.
Yah it sounds like he has the L and R speech impediment 😂 my 6 year old goddaughter has that and her parents are teaching her to say that it's an accent 😭
@@touch-- cuz they’re annoying and they ruin the comment section, every now and then I’d like to read something interesting or that has a purpose to it ya know? I literally could not care less if she’s eating lunch or doing her makeup. Nobody does.
I NEVER ffw when Cody goes “on too long.” It’s why I watch. If I wanted to watch the video, I’d watch the actual video. I’m here for the endless commentary and rants about shit on the brand new carpet.
@@malika4638 why are u going through and commenting this under multiple comments 💀 bro said something about it in the vid so obviously they’re gonna show support of some kind
@@malika4638 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 he’s not gonna pick you babes, why you need so much attention? I’m just encouraging a fellow creator. I got my house, my business, my hubby. Spend a little more time on yourself sweaty
As an Asian American, asking someone "what's your ethnicity?" vs "where are you from?" are 2 VERY different questions to me. The first question is DIRECT and asking what the persons ethnic background is, the latter is making an assumption that the person is foreign, that they are from somewhere else, therefore, undermining their nationality. It's almost ALWAYS a question only asked towards ethnic minorities and there's an implication that they are the "other."
This can be applied to most ethnic minorities in the US. I'm surprised people still ask this question. The hispanic guy who was asking probably has been asked this question himself many times, but likely normalized it. It's kind of a dumb way to phrase things
as a younger person who’s a minority. i also say “where are you from?” meaning to ask whats your ethnicity. so i was confused why she was so offended. but yeah he obv. didn’t mean anything bad by it
said the same! I’m admittedly personally usually more lenient and understanding when it’s other people of color/non-white/minorities cause that’s just cultural exchange and connectivity about existing in the US as non-white/ethnic minority groups
Us mexicans just ask “where are you from” but what we REALLY mean is “where are your PARENTS from” i think most of us understand it but i can understand the confusion
14:49 Responding "I don't believe in astrological signs" to the question "are you an alpha?" is the most devastating burn you could unintentionally deliver - that was so funny.
@@tokyo6350 age wise it’s not, but the mentality is often very different actually, so I get her. Most freshmen I know wanna go clubbing, go for casual hookups etc usually, cause this is their first time living on their own and they’re just enjoying the newfound freedom. They’re often more prone to the high school cattiness as well still. People usually chill out quite a bit by second year. Like a relationship isn’t just about age strictly, but what a person wants in a relationship and how they wanna use their free time and stuff. I know a lot of people in second and third year of uni who wouldn’t wanna date freshmen.
I feel bad for Andrew. 😭 Like it's not as if HE was the one that asked for a neck kiss, it was the button, and he got eliminated for it... They fucked him up, lol. ok ik he put that on his thing to participate on the show and stuff, but it's not like he was for sure gonna ask for it.
I felt bad for the girl too because it seemed like the button was going to ask her to kiss his neck which is really awkward and kinda creepy for someone you just met.
I watch these videos specifically to hear your rambles and commentary. Its hilarious and way more entertaining then the video alone. If I just wanted to watch the video with any talks in between I would literally just go watch the video. Please never stop with the commentary
Cut should do like a cut wrapped, where they like show "most skips" "person that asked the most question" "longest speeddate without ending in a date" and the number of couples that made it through versus how many are still together by the end of the year. (And other categories as such)
I feel like the woman at the end may have appreciated the comment about the accessories. I also put a lot of thought in that kind of things in terms of piercings, necklaces, bracelets, etc. and it's cool when people notice
you can't hear it in this video but the girl in the blue said *"his handshake wasn't firm and that made me uncomfortable"* as the reason for pressing the button so fast was
They weren’t saying it to be mean to just be relatable to other viewers. I think it’s pretty common to skip over parts you don’t personally find entertaining. And there’s nothing wrong with that.
Out of all the button episodes the two at the end had the most chemistry they were so cute and instantly matched each others vibe, amazing to finally see a good match!
18:44 Complementing my accessories would actually make me WAY more interested tbh… For example, when the girl liked his demon slayer earrings, you saw that as a potential connection. Even though, In that match up, it wasn’t enough to fill the chemistry requirement obviously… but it opened a door. Personally, I just think that’s a worthwhile interaction, even if they don’t end up dating 🤔 I could be biased, coz I have a few very select and DEFINITELY _notable_ accessories, that I wear consistently. I’d actually be sad, if a potential date wasn’t at least open to the obvious concepts of my expressed interests, and/or style. Or if there were references in them, that they didn’t understand, and weren’t even open to exploring if I mention them. Anime is actually a good reference because it’s such a common interest these days, but the people who overtly _dislike_ it, tend to be very adamant about their ignorance… Both boasting about it, and maintaining it, to every detriment possible. Meanwhile, the people who’ve just never seen a series they like, but are down to binge several hours of a random show they’d never heard of, to see if they COULD enjoy it, to get to know me better??? That dude could get it fr fr 😂 With stipulations of course! But definitely more significant odds, than with the guy who _didn’t_ pay attention to my accessories… JUST SAYIN
I have tried watching anime twice now and have never made it past ten episodes before I'm burned out. First it was Hunter x Hunter, then Jormungand I'm so cooked
Comes in with a backpack, rejects someone for not being round like boba, doesn't do claymation, and his true passion is drinkmaking but not alcoholic drinks, just boba 🤣
I never skip forward Cody. Let these videos be as long as possible. Talk for as long as you want. Don’t let a few people who are impatient ruin your show. They have that instead engagement tik Tok brain and need constant stimulation. Just make the videos how you want
I never usually comment on videos in reference to other videos but Cody…NIGHTMARE is INSANE. SUCH a good song and the music video callbacks to all the reaction videos is incredible. Can’t imagine the effort that went into coordinating everyone together for the video. Such a great song and hilarious video - will be bumping it this summer.
NGL that astrology talk is unironically the *perfect* response to people who ask if you're an alpha. "???" "I think I'm a Capricorn? I'm not into all the alpha centauri star sign bullshit" They are basically the same thing anyways. Ascribe an arbitrary title to someone for them to base their whole personality around.
Okay, the fact that so many people named Kirk are in tech and such fields are definitely because at least one of their parents were nerdy/smart and loved Star Trek. I will die on this hill!
