Peoples' habit of jumping on to whoever the New Cool Person™ is and being like "yes, This one is Safe and Unproblematic. How nice i can have someone to Trust™" not only leads to all of the situations where horrible people are outed and manipulated millions for however long partially Because of the perception of them as cool and Safe, but it also destroys normal people. No one can permanently live up to expectations to be "unproblematic". People are gonna say and do dumb things, people are gonna make mistakes. Sometimes people will then dig their heels in to the mistake, but most people will learn and grow when given the chance. Give them room for that and also protect yourself by having a healthy distance from online personalities and celebs.

@@fukro7557 My middle name was always intended to be my preferred name/the name I would go by, but the order of my names flowed and sounded better when said with my intended name in the middle. We moved at a time before having a "preferred name" section was really common on most documentation, so I guess the hope was that this would just make things more straightforward. It didn't 🥲

I heard them say that

younger kids get it faster cause they have them go through the “ curriculum” ig u can call it faster. i started at age 10 maybe got my black belt age 16 the people that were in my whitebelt class got thier blaco belt around the same time as i did. i also then taught for the same dojo the older kids went through a much more disciplined and through training the you ger kids went through less work and got it at a quicker pace

so it does take years yes .. for very young children however it does not

for younger kids its just something to get thier energy out and once they have reached a black belt status and get a bit older the dojo will start putting them through more tournaments and trainings. where for elder children they start that from yellow stripe onwards

@@thatrandomaccount171 from White belt to Black belt in under 2 years is fast by any metric. I have my blue belt in Karate and Jiu-jitsu. And even as a kid it took me considerably longer to get my blue belt (probably 2 years) and the dojo was not afraid to fail entrants at belt tests. Also note the girl in the video is sub 22. So the belt is definitely from when she was a kid (and that is more definitely Southern California, with McDojo style gyms)

@@DoubleDOwnage yes it is fast … thats usually how fast it is for kids. karate may be different it is a different martial art im nit the martial art conisure im not comparing 2 martial arts like ur trying to. im telling you how teakwondo works. also kids under 10 get that fast treatment for the most part yes. if 6 years is the average time for a kid over 10 to get thier belt she could have fully gone through the proper traing to become a black belt. idk what your issue is. it took me about a year and a half to get from black stripe to black belt plus black brlt is nit the end you get gold stripes every time you go up a black belt level my instructor had 7 good stripes. those take even longer to earn
