I agree. The fact that nothing is happening now does not seal our fate for the rest of time. I don't think they'd ever make a statement like, "We will not do this." Perhaps when I am ancient I'll be able to see Cooper and BT reunited once again

My thoughts are that if you go into the game looking for the number three, you are going to find it in many places. That does not prove Titanfall 3. But I do agree with you that this is not how devs tease something small. I really thought there was something to those advocate messages, but it seems not. Idk. There are some people saying that we might see something at the end of the year game awards

@@MidzBruh nah. they sent a clear message, to trust them. or "trust me" as bt put it. have faith - i'd be shocked if source 2 hasn't been a factor in that. i feel like they were waiting to use source 2, and i think they're about done doing so. look at cs2 for example, source 2 games are finally started to come out, and i think titanfall 3 is gonna be one of them. did vince not say he didn't want to revive titanfall until it felt like a true evolution of the first person shooter, like titanfall and titanfall 2? a new engine would fit the bill, and the largest team they've ever had would definitely be able to execute it. at least on paper.

The new gamemode with all titans having 3 bars seems weird tho. That would completely unbalance the game right? Why would they do that other than to pull attention to the number 3. Maybe I'm part of the pilltakers now..@@MidzBruh

Hypothetically, there could have been more people than expected working on this making new content. Obviously at this point we can now assume that is not true and that the team is small because of what you said. But again, hypothetically, in the realm of recent times, there could have been a larger team working on it

As for the game mode stuff. That is a lot of connections to the number three, but that's just not enough to convince me. If there was an intentional reference to the number three in an advocate message or something, I'd be much more of a believer. Indeed, if November begins and we don't have anything, I think its safe to say we won't have much solid new content for a while.

@@MidzBruh I think it's weird that the Apex time code was included when it wasn't related at all. The only way I could think to connect is was a "continuation" of the Titanfall universe with a new game

I too am happy that TF2 is active again, but I guess my main fear is how long that will last. What's the player count going to be in a month. Two months? I guess my fear is that it will just go back to how it was like none of this ever happened. That being said, it is still a W that servers are still working and whatnot but still, besides that, it seems like the game might just go into the same state that it was in before all this.

Eh, that could be the case, but I'd assume they already have a pretty good idea about that stuff from years ago. Even if that were the case, if all of this is just to gauge player activity, that means a potential release is many many years down the line

@@MidzBruh it’s a long shot but so have more than half of the theories out there and fan speculation that something would happen this month and on the anniversary bore out well before the “candy copper” hint. I just feel like this something Respawn would do… keep the hype rolling by zigging and zagging against expectations.

Yea, I would love this. Solid content updates for Titanfall 2 would be just as loved by me as Titanfall 3 would. But again, this video is expressing my disappointment that nothing was released and nothing was announced. No new game, no real updates, no new content, no statement...

Yea, for most, hope is gone. For some, they are waiting for November to come. For very few, they are holding out hope for the end of the year game awards. If this was to test fan reception, that would mean a release several years in the future anyways

I agree, you said it well. It is painful. I too have been playing since the first, so I've seen a lot of this unfold. I have never thought of it that way you put it, but yea, it does feel like the TF2 launch date not only was unideal from a business standpoint, but it is a kick in the knee to the devs who worked on it. And yea, TF3 would be fantastic, but I would totally be happy with any new real content (or announcement), maybe maps, guns, pilots, maybe a continued campaign. Not only was none of that added, but Respawn still hasn't even officially acknowledged any of this in any capacity. No "Thank you," no updates, no happy birthday, no nothing. I just want something, anything, because you said it well, being sweaty in multiplayer can only be entertaining for so long before it gets stale. As for your opening remark. Sure, comments do boost my place in the algorithm, but in a real way, I want comments to see what people are thinking and feeling. Especially for the two videos before this one, comments on videos really helped me formulate good thoughts and new insights on all of this. For this video, I really wanted to know how others are receiving this, because the reddit can only give you so much. Your comment is a perfect example of what I like to see.

What's even worse is they keep twisting established titanfall lore to fit their needs for Apex. A couple of grunts killing a pilot, a Monarch (literal Vanguard class rip off) being used on the Militias side, Viper and his titan randomly surviving the explosion of a literal planet for his daughter to discover, and so much more. From the game that put Respawn on the map and got them to where they are it feels like the highest insult to tease, ignore, and twist their original fans. Instead they'd rather commit their time to the cash cow that's a shadow of its former self, with it's only link to their origin being some gun models. Yea I could tell you really did want to know what people were feeling, the Titanfall community is different like that, especially with how we've been treated. In the end all we can do is keep on dreaming.

I guess the main hopes for a lot of people is that this game would not be released "out of nowhere." The hope is that they have been working on it behind closed doors for a little bit, then they could have something to reveal soon. I agree with your sentiments about supporting Titanfall 2 even if we didn't get a Titanfall 3. I agree with the principal, and I'll personally continue to be a part of the community, whether it be the game, videos, reddit, or memes. But hell. I don't expect someone to spend their scarce gaming hours playing a game with minimal updates for the sake of proving something to EA.

Were these maps not already playeable in the past/other modes? imo that is not new content.

It's hard to call those maps new. They were already playable in the game. They have just been added to the map pool for another game mode. For me, it is really hard to call that new content

Well said. Though a lot of that is just take on those games, I think the same opinions are shared by a lot of people. The current games on the market just don't get the job done anymore. Not only are they hella cash grabby, but the core gameplay is just not fun. This is just one reason among many others why Titanfall 3 would be great right now. Not sure if you saw my last vide, but I strongly believe now would be a great time for a release
