I think one of the best platformers that I think is really unique is called demon turf. It a really sick game that I think can be considered a great game and platformer.

I've watched him play this game for like 2 minutes and I already have a headache. Why does this game exist? WHY?

The thing about this game that makes it feel so much worse I find, is that it looks competent. At a glance, it looks like a simple decent platformer. It's JUST competent enough to be a game you can play through. It works JUST well enough to say that you're playing a game. It's not so bad you can entertain yourself by making fun of it, because instead your mind thinks of the potential the game could have and its just disappointing. It's like playing a cheap GameCube game. Like it reminds me of Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg but with none of the fun. It's not trash, it's not decent. It's not meh. It's so perfectly inbetween that its pure disappointment. And that's all it is. Disappointing. Which is so much worse then trash.

I still can't get over the fact that even their title is fucked up. It totally should have been "Balan Wonderland"

hollow knight is probs best 2D platformer so far. From the active and engaging combat/platforming to amazing storytelling you only see in great movies. Very subtle

something that i know is that, when theres a game with multiple buttons for jumping are already set when you play the game for the first time, you can kinda stack them. it normally only works when you have a double jump, but in dead cells if W and the SpaceBar both make you jump, and if you press them at the same time you can do a really high jump very quickly, but most of the game needs you to hold on to that second jump anyways so that's kinda useless.

Skooch my man, I just wanted you to know that you have my utmost respect for playing this game, because I for sure wouldn't have the patience to play this thing for more than 5 minutes, my brain would rot.
