This game is so much fun. Also it doesn't have devs. It has 1 dev, who is Italian if I remember correctly. Most of the items/characters are puns so Santa water is holy water because Santa means holy. He combined Italian and English. I also heard that the upgrade for Santa water, La Borra or whatever, is slang for c.u.m
It's an Italian meme reference, for a cooking show a famous Italian host once asked the question "What makes foam but it's not soap?" to which an elderly lady at the phone answered with "La borra" which is a foamy stuff birds regurgitate, but it also happens to be very close to "sborra" which is... yeah

Big enemies or enemies with borders give chests. Luck increases the chance of Chests being triples and pentas, as well as the drop rate of powerups and random upgrades. Some characters get bonuses to Area or Cooldown, that claim to decay over time. They don't, they decay over levels. Upgrade Garlic by getting the regeneration heart and maxing garlic. It's not ridiculous, but it's usable.
This game has too much game for the $3 I paid for it. It's one of my favorite games of the year, and the weekly updates have been keeping it spicy. Highly recommend

I thought Vampire Survivors was a fighting game with Morrigan, Dimitri, and my homie Huztli (Phobos). Didn't know it was a $3 dollar dope dopamine machine. Great game for the price, wish there were more Lunchable games like this one.
Skooch is very quickly becoming my fav variety streamer. Been with him since Can We Talk About This? Dr. Mundo. I'm excited for more variety, more Minecraft, and, I know it's wishful thinking but it's my favorite franchise so maybe one day, I hope maybe he'll play the Kingdom Hearts series
As a heads up skooch, if you see this, what weapons can be evolved is based on what secondary items you have. Magic wand needs tome, Knife needs bracer, etc. And some of the combinations make no sense, so uh.... good luck on figuring them out if you don't look them up.
I wound up picking this game up yesterday thanks to this review, and wound up playing it for like 10 hours over those two days. Thank you for the recommendation Skooch, it's been a blast to play so far.
Well I just bought it after watching this and clocked in 5.2 hours in my first sitting. I made a buil with Mortaccio that made me able to survive for just shy of 2 minutes against 3 Grim Reapers. I have to appreciate that even though the Grim Reaper *clearly* appears for the sole purpose of ending the game, you can still fight back. Sure, you don't seem to be able to kill them, and more of them appear the longer you survive, but it feels good to say "NAY, I AM SAINT MORTACCIO THE ARISEN! I HAVE BESTED YOU BEFORE, SPECTER; I AM NO LONGER BEHOLDEN TO YOUR DOMAIN OF COLD SOIL AND ASHES!" before he firmly plants his boot in your ass and drags you back to hell.

Honestly, this game makes it's price worth it. I used to think, that 1€ should equal 1 hour of gametime, and thats with this 3€/$ over the top. You need to get thtough 30 Minutes to complete a stage, so you get easy over 3 hours of playtime with all the different Items, characters, power-ups to buy and achievments
In most stages, the 30 min mark is when everything dies and the reaper spawns. It literally one shots you and ends the run. You can kill it and then use him as a playable character, but his stats scale with your level so it's tough to kill him. There are strats for it. Also more reapers spawn at a certain rate if you keep surviving past 30. So the game doesn't go on for hours, and that's actually a good thing imo
Skooch if rougelikes are your jam you gotta try peglin, it's a mix of peggle and slay the spire so you can level up your balls and bounce them around to murder the enemies.
As someone who has recently played more and more roguelikes, gonna take a look at this one. (it's cheap as hell too, I don't even have to wait for a keyshop to put it on cheap or for a steam sale)
In my humble opinion, knife is the worst weapon in the game bar none. Upgraded magic wand is knife that you don't have to aim and you don't have the luxury of aiming when you do 100% cursed runs. But yea, it's a good game, it's one I'd heavily recommend. Cheap and high quality
I really like seeing you enjoy other games. Don't get me wrong you talking and playing league is fun but its nice seeing you branch out. I feel like league can be draining.
Skooch PLEASE try Risk of Rain 2. Its the BEST Rouge-like out there. Even if its not 2d or braindead, cos u actually need some game knowledge to be goot, but its 3d and VERY EASY to pick up, like u can literally get how to play it in 5 clicks and the fun never ends, also huntress has a nice butt
As someone who has gone to the lengths of 100% this game with all 4 secret characters, its nice to see the humble beginnings... Because the ptsd of getting toastie and then playing toastie sucks...

This is where AAA gaming has driven players. Less than Nintendo Original graphics and gameplay. Also , what Warframe and Path of Exile should still be like.
