Almost as if she’s saying “sh, don’t tell” and she hasn’t been active in Charlie’s live for seven years. What if during that time, she’s created weapons or amassed demons who believe in fighting back. Charlie did say she reached more demons than Lucifer, she’s an idol of sorts. It wouldn’t surprise me if she found out how to kill angels in order to protect her people

A thing that I noticed about Adam is that his favorite food is ribs... Eve was created from God pulling out one of Adam's ribs.

As a Catholic myself, I didn't remember Lilith either. The first time I heard about her being a Biblical figure was during a college humanities class where she was mentioned briefly in an old Sumerian myth of all places. (The TLDR: She was in a tree and I thought it was weird that they just name dropped her like we were supposed to know who she was. So I did my research.) Some Biblical lore credits her as the first woman that was cast out of the garden only for God to make Eve out of Adam's rib to make her a more submissive wife to him. (While the rib thing isn't mentioned, they actually correlated it with ribs being Adam's favorite food, which I find interesting.) I don't think the Catholic church acknowledges that telling for obvious reasons. You are right about the garden of Eden. In all versions, Eve was tempted to eat an apple from the Tree of Knowledge by Lucifer and then Adam ate one after she did. He's also not even a born angel. He's one of the "winners" as they call them, one of the humans that went to Heaven. All humans make mistakes, even those who go to Heaven. The Hazbin Hotel version of Lucifer and Lilith is actually a mix of the Judaism/Christian lore of Lilith and an old book called "Paradise Lost." Lilith is usually credited as the Judaism/Christian mother of monsters and is credited in many telling as being the wife of different demons in Hell, the most common being Asmodeus (believe it or not) when I looked up married demons for a brief writing project. (The TLDR: I wrote a draft short comedy story about a demon husband who made a deal with a greater evil and was summoning him. This was for a Horror writing workshop I did a few months ago.) "Paradise Lost" is literally a published Bible fanfiction written as an epic poem with Lucifer as the protagonist and he falls in love with the first woman (who in this book is actually Eve but acts a lot like how Charlie describes Lilith acting towards her Adam). Lucifer, of course, didn't end up with her in the book so the Hazbin Hotel version actually has him winning her over.

This show is absolutely amazing so far. Great characters, banger songs, an intriguing story with massive stakes, I can't wait to see where it all goes. Also, I like how the angels are portrayed as more evil than the demons. And that Adam and Lute say they "earned their damnation" when Adam was the one who committed the original sin. If anyone deserves to be stuck in Hell forever, it's him.

I like the theory that it was Lilith who killed the angel. Like maybe the thing she's been "busy" with, is setting up for a war with Heaven so they leave them alone. I'm also starting to lean toward the idea that as the series progresses Charlie's gonna care less about getting sinners into heaven and more just protecting them from it as she realizes how hypocritical and self righteous heaven is.

I wonder if the cannibals smiling is a nod to Kuru, a rare neuro-degenerative brain disease caused by consuming infected brains, also known as Laughing Sickness. Or maybe they're just happy to be the one eating instead of being eaten.

As reasonable and harmless as the Alastor deal sounded. I can’t help but feel like that’s somehow going to be used against Vaggi later in the series. It may have been a small deal, but it was still a deal with a powerful demon.

Biblical lore: God created both Adam and Lilith from the earth as equals. But they didn’t get along and when Adam complained to God that Lilith wouldn’t obey him, God banished Lilith from the garden (but not from the entire land of Eden). He made Eve from Adam’s rib so she would always be subservient to him (making Lilith a feminist icon in pop culture, for defying Adam). Lilith decided to leave Eden entirely, but God apparently didn’t like that because he sent a group of angels to retrieve her. When those angels decided to have some probably-not-consensual sex with her, Lilith spawned an absurd number of demons as a result (earning her the title mother of demons). As for the devil, he was originally an angel named Lucifer, which means morning star. Lucifer is basically the embodiment of pride - he saw the way God took care of the humans and decided he knew how to take care of humans better (so biblically, the devil doesn’t want to hurt people at all, but he believes that anything that makes a person feel good is good for them). He decided to rebel against God, but he failed and he was banished from heaven as the very first fallen angel.

One thing I noticed is that Katie’s dress is kinda similar to Brandon’s character: Bryce TankThrust!

No spoilers, but you will find out who killed the angel.

I'm gonna take a moment to use the knowledge acquired in my animation history college course to infodump for a bit. Have you ever realized that most of the times where there's a "once upon a time" tale-structured opening to a series or a movie they usually use silhouettes and a sort of shadow puppet rigging style? Well I'm 99% sure that comes from the work of Lotte Reiniger. She was an avant-garde artist from the 20's 30's and basically shaped animation as we know it. At that time, animation was only used for experimental stuff, abstract art, little comedy gags... But Lotte took inspiration from chineese shadow puppets and made her own, creating the first traditionally animated rigs. she also was the first person ever to adapt fairy tales to animation, and she ade the first ever animated feature film, which is wrongly attributed to Disney for Snow White a lot of the times. So every time stories are shown like that (think for example the tale of the three brothers in harry potter) we're actually seeing the influence of one of the forgotten female animators whom the industry has built upon
