I just ran mine yesterday. Was amazing in CQB modes especially with the 2 round burst. Ran perfectly for the first few hours with non stop use but eventually started freezing. The bolt would get stuck halfway or wouldn’t grab a bb especially in full auto. I let it sit for several games then attempted to use it again which did work but for only half a mag. Hopefully we eventually get a decent fix for the crazy cool down times.
Honestly I’m skeptical of the “Prototype” status of this sample. This meeting wasn’t a year or two ago, this was AFTER the Kriss was put up for pre-order. I’m gonna have to wait until this gets in the hands of consumers for me to put a final decision on purchase. With gas blowbacks especially, the problems of the Version 1 of any new system always shows up once people actually start buying it.
Fair enough, I’m interested in how well the final product will perform as well. The models they had could have been early models that were just being used for public appearances and since we were running them back to back as quickly as we could load the magazines, cool down was gonna be bad.
Thanks for answering my question! I’m glad to see the bolt is made of steel and it’s also nice that a little bit of the recoil system of the vector has been replicated.
mom! i made it in a USAIRSOFT video! fr though, the oem conspiracy ran deep as hell throughout reddit. i’m glad it was cleared up, thanks for letting us know!
as an owner of a heavily modified DMR KWA owner, i'm very much looking forward to youtube comparisons side by side of the KWA and Krytac GBB....almost certainly we might expect some differences given differences in the bolt and hop-up (?)
I've had the AEG version for awhile and love it to death. Excited for the GBB version and maybe even a CO2 mag just for convenience. Hopefully they do some dual tone and Laylax accessories.
By now some tests with parts compatibility has been done. the krytac GBB vector mags work on the KWA but the KWA wont work in the krytac. Trigger system from krytac works on the KWA. The KWA with a mod can take the krytac hopup system.
First Krytac gun I've ever found buy worthy. Although I'm still gonna wait for 1-2 years to see if it's still in production and people still like them.
The fact that this beautiful gbb smg will be 800+ euro in Ireland is a massive disappointment especially considering the US one will sell for 400+ EDIT; Checked a few websites, average is 600 (less than the AEG)
A lot of questions has been answered in this vid! Great work 😊! Do realize your reach is more further then the US, so I advice you friendly to inform for example the European retailing market for replica’s ( and more subs 😉)
I pre ordered a three pack of spare mags as soon as I saw they were available for pre order. Just got them today. Gonna be a little before the gun arrive but I’ll at least be able to play right away
Is there gonna be a giveaway? or at least some discount cause i love the vector but no way im gonna be able to afford any of that plus mags and accessories
I still have my old KWA and run it whenever I can. Shame there wont be any compatible parts other than externals but as is life. I will say, odd that they dumbed down the recoil system, the bolt in the KWA makes full travel down into the lower frame of the lower reciever.
I got one question. Will there be any OEM accessories like VFC did with the 249? Like Extended barrels, rail covers with flashlight hole? Those dort of things. I always liked that GHK Auga both A2 and A3 had 3 different barrel length options.
Ohhh, I like GBBs. I'm currently playing the VFC HK MP7 GBB V2 but I have a soft spot for the KRISS Vector. I hope it makes it to Germany at a normal reasonable price. Then I think I'll have a new Submachine Gun :)
Does the Vector accept Glock mags (g-series mags)? I think that maxim 9 mags aren't compatible with g-series mag and you only said that maxim 9 mags won't fit.
Hi! I’m a totally new person to this stuff and I have a low budget… I’ve wanted to get into it but a friend scammed me outta a gun I was getting from him, gave me a stinger p311 rather then the promised one, where should I start?
Its Hard not to compare with the KWA version, they are the only 2 of this model, its natural to see if it had any improvment or not. I dont know why the krytec one dont have the bolt going further in the lower like the real one or the KWA, i found it strange that it wouldnt. About the build, i have a question. Knowing the fact of a lot of full pollymer GBBRs (even metal ones from WE) have the tendency of craking in the back of the bolt travel after some use (even the KWA kriss had some reports of this issue) i want to know if krytac knows about this and if they made something to counter act this with this model. Other Question: Magazines, any rumors of other tipes of mag? like the short one or the drum?
Some people are just clueless... just because SIG is dumb enough to use VFC, doesn't mean everyone is. Krytac IS Kriss USA. Why would Kriss create Krytac just to license out to VFC?
Just received my Vector GBB today first initial thoughts were great but in sub 10°c it really struggled after just 30shots and of course eventually froze up..... as the magazine fill valve is right at the top these magazines cannot be tapped for HPA... so my big question is of course, is there alternate magazines that do fit this Vector or will there be a Hpa tapped adaptor version?
Well. Magazines from krytac Fit and feed reliably the KWA. Just tested this, I'll release an english version of my review next week if everithing goes right.
if you are mad about 330 fps and you dont know anything about lifting the output energy up you rly shouldnt bother to buy a GBBR since its easy and cheap af to do so. I dont see any point in your argument
@@natebrewer2224 thanks, maybe i got a ton of duds but i see video and topic on how to fix the issue by replacing the spring(Sadly in my country it's not that easy to buy airsoft related stuff due to customs). Also, just for context I treat my mags fairly well, so i dont think it's user error.. The issue started to show up like a month after i got it.
From a collectors stand point, they still are! My opinion is that KWA make the better vector still and that the krytac seems to be a cash grab in a thirsty market.
In my country. a 2nd hand KWA kriss gbb could cost up to 1250$ or even more based on the conditions. Now with the release of another Kriss gbb from Krytac themselves, them KWA worshipers are doomed and cried like a bitch.
4:47 - And that's a no-go for me. In my opinion GBBs exsists strictly for realism, so what's the point of having all the GBBs' drawbacks in your replica just to experience AEG feeling. Got excited for GBB Vector, especially with out of the box steel internals, but that statement killed my excitement very fast.
It feeling like the AEG wasn’t really a bad thing. It felt great like my AEG Vector. It felt a little lighter thanks to the lack of AEG internals but all around people have been happy about it feeling the much the same so this comment is surprising honestly.
does the AEG vector come with a stopping bolt feature or any feedback by blowback? no it doesnt. trigger will feel different than an AEG one and ill be honest with you: there is NO aeg out there where manipulation is as much fun as on GBBRs... those pathetic charging handles doin simply nothing... AEGs are a joke in these terms
@@USAirsoft It is not about quality of it. Krytac for me is a synonym of well-made replicas and I expect from them nothing less. I have no doubts about 'feeling' - when it comes to quality. My point is... why buying replica that makes you think non-stop during the airsoft game about gas efficiency, consistency, probability of jamming etc. without all the bells and whistles of using GBBRs, when you have AEG w/o that drawbacks that feel very similar - I just don't see any reason here for existence of GBB Vector in that case. Maybe it's just my personal experience. I just modfiy all my GBBR to be as hard-kicking as possible cuz I'm using GBBRs for the realism in game and I think all GBBR users can say it comes with some sacrifices - that's the nature of GBBRs.
@@Luc4rroit “feels” similar because it’s the exact same shell/body. that’s what he means lol. I was at the event, in fact you can see me handling it in some of the videos lol. idk why y’all be stressing over something you’ve never touched before
I love the idea of gas blow back airsoft guns, but just from a pricing perspective, the magazines are always so much more expensive that it just doesn't make sense economically for me. Like I don't want to spend as much on the magazines as I did on the gun just so I can take like three or four extra mags out
okay, I don't understand. Why do people have a preference for gas powered guns over AEG. In my opinion it's all the same at the end of the day and it all works the same. Why is this some kind of point of contention in the community where people will get hella judgemental over gas or AEG. I mean I just bought the white vector aeg from Evike cause it was on sale is this.. bad?
No no, play anyway you’d like. Some people just enjoy GBBs a lot more for the extra realism. Having to charge your gun, having more realistic ammo counts, the recoil, even the weight is a big attraction.
Why does everyone that does a vector make a .45ACP vector. It would be so much better to make a 9mm vector that way we could use mags we already own, rather than having to buy even more new mags, for another new proprietary mag system
Something interesting I’ve learned over the years is that the return on specific magazines does a lot to make a new release a success. A lot of replicas would be financial flops without that chunk of sales so it’s just a no brainer for manufacturers in a lot of cases.
@@mattew_2795 I understand where you're coming from, and I would tend to agree, if it weren't for the fact that the intended design choice was to mitigate recoil, and for the airsoft version to mimic that recoil impulse.
