Wow. I am so excited. This is one of the projects I want to build. But first I have to make the Miter shooting board. And find the right wood for this project. I have seen that you are coming to Germany. I will be in vacation at that time. So I can´t come to the course by Dictum. Munich is a wonderful place. Just watched all 10 videos on this project. Crafting of an order beyond anything else I have found on RU-vid. I may be bonkers but I was reminded of a Japanese Tea Ceremony!!! Such an eye for detail and patience throughout the process. Truly a journey worth making and the finished product was pretty darn good to. I'm just starting out on my hand woodworking journey and was amazed at the variety of tools available to carry out some of the specific tasks. Do you make your own tools as well? Tom my sincerest thanks for posting these video clips.

Dude you did all that shaping by hand? I would be online buying a spindle sander inside of 5 minutes.... Sweet work!

Two things Tom: 1. In addition to the obvious appeal of your woodworking technique and skill, I love your music. I can only speak for myself, but I would not think it a shameless plug if you included where we could find this music. It's really not like anything I've listened to before. 2. This is a personal preference...I've acquired two spoke shaves and have yet to work on a piece for which these would be the preferred smoothing method. While I know you're trying to keep each episode short, I'd love to have seen spoke shave techniques that got edited out. There's an abundance of planing videos, but very little on these tools. The most helpful was one by Garrett Hack, but watching him is like a Michael Jordan video on how to dunk. I experienced more awe than insight. Perhaps yours would be no different, but I'd like to have seen that. All the best Tom!
