What a strange, scary and confusing movie but very good. A must watch. Cannot comprehend the grief of the parents for losing their beautiful children. Cannot ever comprehend it. Such a scary movie having to endure so much loss. The mother was blind to the evil child. The mother can't be blamed but she still was annoying. Nostalgic- It was lovely families use to go on picnics back then and spend time with each other full of love. This is a must watch. Thanks for uploading.

Thanks for posting! I was intrigued by this film when I was a kiddo. My memory had faded slightly and it was great to have a refresher. I really enjoyed seeing it again.

An eerie and chilling film, with a striking juxtaposition of its frightening and horrific events and its beautiful settings and characters. Obviously influenced by "The Bad Seed", " The Godsend " is an underrated film which is far superior to the majority of the American horror films made and released back in 1980.

I've read A LOT of the comments and no one seems to understand that this storyline is based on how the Cuckoo bird and its offspring lives life. .. I saw this movie at a drive-in when it first came out. The little girl, Bonny looks almost identical to me and my sister at that age :)

How many of you felt like killing bonnie, a sequel of the omen.

This woman in the beginning of this movie is just creepy...she does not blink her eyes at all and she talks as if she is from another planet or something? Very odd and very suspicious about her shady character in this film.

Oh boy, Bonnie was a little piece of Hell on earth. Reminds me of The Bad Seed and Village of the Damned with the blonde hair. Kids dropping like flies and still Mum can't figure it out ... when she actually does by the end she keeps Bonnie because it is easier to accept her than come to grips that she systematically wiped out her entire family. Stupid cow deserves her 😂 Great movie! Cheers ✌

The babies magically switched bodies??? In the scene where the wife discovers that the creepy pod girl has gone, she goes into the couples’ bedroom carrying a darker-haired newborn infant. The husband is shown cradling a round-headed blonde baby who is significantly older. Later, in the scene where one baby supposedly kills the other baby in the crib, an older-looking blonde baby is smiling in the crib while that same dark baby is laying down. What is going on? Is that a mistake they hoped we wouldn’t notice? Because I noticed.

Watching this movie...is like watching the "The Omens" (1976)...and what is ironic about this film and "The Omens" is that they are both based in London, England, UK. Bonnie is Damian's girlfriend lol :P

This woman is very creepy and weird, I woulda gave her, her glass of orange juice called her a cab, threw her in it, tossed the driver $100, and said drive as far as 100 will take you! Lol but that's just me 👍😉

lots of things got under my skin regarding this film. psycho mom's eyeballs for starters...then there's the idiot mother and the uncaring father. dad seems to treat kids like a litter of kittens until there's only one left. and the mom can't put two and two together throughout the film. no likeable characters in this film. I have to like the characters to appreciate a film.

I would have thought that after the second death social services would have been snooping around and, can you just keep a baby that's not yours? Did they register it as their child?

Bonnie blues name belongs to Gone with the wind. this little girl she would and is considered the bad seed. 3 thumbs up.

I remember when this was released. Never saw it. I'll give it a try.

Rather a calm reaction to seeing your baby dead. Very unsettling film. And if I had got myself stuck up a wall, my dad's response would have been, 'You got yourself up there, now you get yourself down.' And thank god it was!

Great movie even though it’s very old now loved it so sad all those cute kids died and dunno what would become of Bonnie would she kill again she was pure evil the actress that played little Bonnie were so cute but the one that played older Bonnie looked creepy but she is an actress and probably was a really sweet kid also wonder what became of the kids now and those boys had awesome red hair

I wish I was in the movie I wish I could have got my hands on Bonnie and her mother it would have been a wrap for both of them

This movie made me mad!😮 Because it was obvious that lil bratt was murdering the other children! What really made me mad was how no one believed him....even after witnessing one of the murders. 🙄

**SPOILERS** I wish the movie had provided an explanation or origin of the child's mother. In my estimation, the writer of the script had in mind a being of extraterrestrial origin. I don't think they were going for a demonic angle.

The book "the Godsend" is written by Bernad taylor. I already requested through interlibrary. People has said the book ending is quite different from the movie.

Although this is One of my favorite movies of all time it was so evil and Sinister n messed up how the killers got away with murder messing up people's homes and killing innocent children I wish Bonnie and her mother would have gotten what they deserved they should have made a pt 2 showing them getting what they deserve this is a female version of The Omen in a sense if you ask me .this movie left me so puzzled at the end wishing I knew what happened to Bonnie nbher mother the man and woman who was a left with all their children dead and all those other baby omens that Bonnie's mother planted b 4 Bonnie and continued 2 plant in people's houses after Bonnie I wish that the makers of this movie would have made a part 2 or even three or four or five I wonder where all the actors are from this movie today watching this movie affected me emotionally I took it very personal and I was hurt by what happened even though it was just a movie

I love the atmosphere of the old movies but when I know what's coming, like the childrens deaths in this case , it makes me anxious , so I didn't enjoy this one.

I remember the paperback but never read it. Interesting because I read just about every horror novel I could find. The premise is great, the acting, sets and direction decent. BUT, everyone was so emotionally detached. Children die and hardly a tear from anyone? The kid playing Bonnie was just down right creepy. And then some of the dialogue. Definitely an 80's flick. :-)

....... the evil little girl would have been perfect in a remake of Children of the damned or Village of the Damned, you think?
