PELE IS THE KING OF FOOTBALL, HE WAS THE JACK OF ALL TRADES AND HE PLAYED AT TIMES WITH NO YELLOW OR REDS TO PROTECT HIM FROM THE WICKED DEFENCE THAT HE WAS FACING, NOT LIKE THESE TIMES PLAYERS HAS THE YELLOW AND RED CARDS TO PROTECT THEM. PELE RECORD'S STILL NOT BROKEN, RETIRED OVER 30 PLUS YEARS AND HIS NAME IS CALLED AS IF HE'S PLAYING STILL, THERE'S ONLY ONE KING PELE. THE BLACKSTONES
I watched this football documentary a lot at my grandparents house as a child. Several years later i made a copy of this documentary which was on vhs to dvd. The tape was still in my grandparents house. Thanks to my grandparents. My grandfather who bought it in the eighties was a big football fan. Last year i just had to upload this film to RU-vid. Now everyone can still see a little bit of the football magic of the past. Enjoy.
Thanks for sharing it to the U~tuber's. I hope they show this and others on TV and Cable here in the States Especially since The King has Left US R.I.P.#10 Pele`🇧🇷 A TRUE BRAZILIAN NATIONAL TREASURE & A FOOTBALL ⚽️- (Soccer) TREASURE
I can't believe I didn't search for this earlier on RU-vid. I was obsessed with this documentary as a child in the 80s and 90s. It is one of the best football documentaries ever made. Thanks Quincy for putting this up!
When an attacking forward striker is on the move potentially to score a goal, and an opposing defender stops playing to drag him with both hands during the play of action by his pants, you know that striker is dangerous!👍😂
Do Pelé, nenhum jogador chega perto.
@@michaelpower4372 Because The Brazilian Government claimed him as A National Treasure so he Couldn't be Bought by another Countries Team. If that's not Great What is ???? #10
Gloria a Pelé eternamente. ⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽🇧🇷
Thanks for the Footage, the era of Football Icon to Icon Pele Legends Rest In Peace 😄Thanks for the Inspirational Entertainment👏Sportsman of the Decade😄
5:55 Brazil actually did qualified for the 1954 World Cup. It lost to Hungary in quarter finals (4 x 2). Brazil was present in all editions of the World Cup.
There has been many great players, Maradona, Messi, 2Renaldos&Renaldinho, Cruyff, Neymar, but non has the impact on the game like Pele, he was excellent header, left/right kicker, smart trickster on the ball and a great assist for many Goals, many of the fouls in the box on him especially during that fabulous dribble through the center at 27:18 would have been penalty for any other, lastly the run up and delay Penalty kick was first done by Pele, the game would not be the same without his input..
Ok this guy played years before my birth. But that move he made at 16:36 to capp it off with a great goal is the reason why Pele is the best footballer of all time. He was ahead of his time. And that Garrincha, Tostao guys are low key goats.
Haven't seen this documentary since 1989/90, when I watched it at my (now late) Grandad's house, on VHS (the video actually belonged to one of my uncles, but we borrowed it to watch). Nice reliving memories.
We shall over come and Brazilian team did that. Amen to pele and his awesome teammates. That's power and a will to be the best. Believe they were the greatest of all. Go Brazilian
In 1970 WC Final against Italy , Pele out jumped Italian defender to head in the First Goal - but who fed him? Here it is shown Garson to Toastao, who centres to Pele to head in. In another video "Football's Greatest International Team... Brasi 1970", it is shown as - Throw in taken by Brasil, ball came to Rivelino, who centres to Pele to head in. Which one is correct?
Hi Rock on, This movie is all I have. I still remember that it was bought like this by my grandfather. It was in a video box, vhs format with cover. So I can't help you further with your request. Good luck with your search for the other version.
How great was Pele? He inspired US Women's soccer. The best by far of the second best player ever. Could dribble, pass, shoot with either foot, head the ball better than anyone. Greater than Gretzky, Jordan, Ruth.
Thx for sharing Quincy. The movie is not complete as there are parts that are not included. Are you able to upload the full movie if available please. We had the VHS version from 1981 to mid-90s and I have been looking for it for years now.
Did he say that Brazil did not qualify for the 1954 world cup?.( 5.54 to 5.58). Who is this guy?. BRAZIL DID QUALIFY and is the only nation to participate in all of the world cups.
What a great football loving nation, great player Pele, Brazil was not able to continue the legacy of Pele. I don't see that zeal to win in the present Brazilian side.
Thoroughly entertaining documentary but includes an unforgivable error in its narration: “Although Brazil did not qualify for the 1954 World Cup…..” (5.58). Brazil was defeated 4-2 in the quarter-finals by eventual finalists Hungary. The South Americans remain the only country to have qualified for all twenty-two World Cups.
5:54 Wrong information. Of course Brazil qualified for the 1954 World Cup. Brazil is the only country in the world who has played all 22 World Cups since its inception in 1930 in Uruguay, winning so far 5 editions.
Pelé was great and unselfish, he actually gave so much opportunity to his team mate, while it looks like at that time players wanted to score themselves. Beside people saying football was easy than are crazy, this looks brutal and referees let it plY without sanctions
a 100 percent its a load of crap these detractors talk ,haters will talk hate alot of vicious brutal fouls were let go ,their was no referee protection like today
Watched it in Cinemas. My father, a die hard Brazilian fan, took me, 1980s... Looking back, goosebumps but one mistake - the narrator says Brazil did not qualify for the 1954 WC, which is wrong.
