Twisterboy You didn't upset me buddy boy- I just think you need to make your own jokes or comment something that hasn't already been said 5000 billion times.
Hello, everyone. I just want so say that I hope we can all enjoy the KH magic together. I am so glad it had been 15 years since KH embarked on this journey. I want to thank this franchise and community. I feel like this made a huge difference in my life. The journey was hard, filled with a lot of raging, laughter, and tears. Especially a lot of patience. Now as we creep closer (hopefully) to KH 3, I just want to thank everyone. Thank you to Kingdom Hearts. Thank you Tetsuya Nomura for your sheer brilliance. Thank you, SE. Thank you this community. Thank you to the X-Keepers. Thank you, Sora, Riku, and Kairi. Thank you to Org. 13. Thank you, BBS trio. Thank you, Mickey, Donald, and Goofy. Thank you, Seasalt Ice-cream trio. Thank you, Master Eraqus. Thank you, Yen Sid. Thank you, Dandelions. Thank you, Fortellers and MoM. Thank you, Xehanort who WILL NOT FREAKING DIE! Thank you, thank you, thank you. Thank you for everything!
trueblueSonic fan SE included him, but might as well add him as well. I just didn't want to look up the proper spelling of his name. XD I am horrible when it comes to spelling Japanese names right.
Come on, the absolutely worst loading screen times were in Sonic the Hedgehog 2006. It was like: Talk to a NPC -> 5 Minutes Loading Screen -> Mission Details are explained in a seperate scene -> 5 Minutes Loading Screen -> Mission Starts -> completed/failed -> 5 Minutes Loading Screen -> Get Reward/Or NPC complains that you failed -> 5 Minute Loading Screen -> Game resumes/Games asks if you wanna repeat the failed Mission (in this case: everythign starts from the top). So, the maximum Loading Screen Time (or Drive Form Trigger Time) of about 6 seconds is NOTHING.
Four-Two Four-Two 4242 man my friends kh 2 a few years ago In 11th grade was pretty scratched & the copy I own now is scratched pretty badly, but surprisingly it runs like a brand new disc. I was playing the game with expectations of it slowing down or glitching but it never did. It's just wierd. But I think it depends on how deep scratches are & if they're close to the edge or center.
I think about that every day, like for real this a game I have to play and been waiting on for over a decade. Those who didn't live to see KH3 I feel for
what do you mean didn't live for? I mean, yeah it's taken forever for these games to come out, but I started playing KH1 in 2001 (when I was in 4th grade) played KH2 around 2007 (highschool) and now I'm 25 (in college) I don't plan on dying anytime soon, but I do hope I don't feel an age disconnect to the characters.
@Jafninetyfour It didn't bother me too much either a slight annoyance at the least. IMO it's just ppl being picky. But the drive forms were hell though.
A lot of people saying they won't buy 1.5 + 2.5 because they don't want to play the same game again. Hahaha that's why you were supposed to take a break from Kingdom Hearts. I haven't played the KH games in about 2 years. So now it'll be exciting to play the games again and in 60FPS and faster load times and on my current gen console.
armandocool97 For someone like me who has never played any of the games, should I get this one? All of the bug's and expecially the the save crashing is scaring me.
Man, I want to get this, but first I have to finish all the games that I bought. It's one of my new year resolution that I made. "Don't Buy a new game until I'm done with the games that I bought." I keep buying the games after games and never finishes them. It's bad habit of mine. :(
I actually think a little buffer is a good thing in kh2, after leveling up tho forms to their max I typically only use them when im getting my ass kick and have no way of healing myself any other way. the buffer gives me a small window to see whats going to happen, how to avoid, and how to counter ontop of a moment to breath.
Today's my birthday. I was born in the same month Kingdom Hearts started. I guess I was destined to be a fan. Which would explain how I got into it so quickly.
I really thank you m8. I haven't tried any of this series but want to try it since it's from Square Enix and I trust their work. Thanks for this video, looks like it is worth 50$
So in order to fully grasp Kingdom Hearts 3, you will need to get and pay through: •Kingdom Hearts 1.5+2.5 HD •Kingdom Hearts 2.8 HD Final Prologue •Pretty much every Nomura FF game •The World Ends With You and then watch all the Disney movies and what not.
As a person who has only played KH 1, does this ps4 version include all the titles leading up to KH4? Or will I need to play something else after this one?
Publius Cornelius Scipio I have both games for ps3 but I havent play them do you think they good in ps3 or should I buy them again on ps4 for the extras.
For as much as we all complain about the drive gauge buffer times, I always thought it gave some interesting emphasis on activating the drive form when it happened, like when you would activate a special super move in other games.
Looking forward to play it, but I have constant doubts about the difficulty setting I'll choose. Would you guys recommend Proud mode for KH1? I really like a challenge but I don't want it to be annoying.. And what about the other KH games? Some pro's & cons would be great!
David Green they haven't shipped it yet right? Cancel the order and preorder it on PS4 to get the wallpaper or the square Enix store to get the exclusive pin. Your choice.
Did they fix the button input lag in Birth By Sleep? I couldn't really play the game on the PS3 because if I pushed the attack button a certain amount of times(let's say three presses) only for the character to move once.
The PS3's load time is exactly why I never played it for speed runs. I always did it on the PS2 because of how much faster it is. But now that load time is completely gone... This shit's gonna be lit
As someone that is *trying* to 100% Critical Mode on KH2, on the PS3, I can officially announce, that the hardest part of the game, isn't terra nor the data battles, but literally the hecking load times and CONSTANT surprise crashes I experience. Thank you PS4 installation. I await your arrival next Tuesday.
Love the video, but got a quick question. Say if I bought this game and wanted to play Birth By Sleep first, does the game allow you to do that? Or do you have to play through the others to reach it? I've already played the others and really just wana get to BBS, thanks :)
Dude I love your reviews , i could not stop laughing ! But on a serious note thank you for not being biased like the other 90 percent of people . i will be enjoying this game to the fullest!
Terra BenLuk Probably because there's no time in the RoD. Whenever a world falls to darkness, it's frozen in time. if it was day when the world fell it will always be day. If it was night, it will always be night.
I got this the other day, and have been play birth by sleep for the first time. It is very Phenomenal at 60fps and I have been grinding to get as much abilities as I can, so far Im a level 25 with Terra and only on the 5th world. Great collection Pack m8's
I'm 34 years old, never played KH before. Decided to get the two remakes, 1.5, 2.5, and 2.8 and just play them all and see what the hype was all about. I have to say, I'm still only on the first game kh final remix, but already I love it. it's magical. getting to play along with daffy and goofy is making me feel like a kid again. looking forward to the rest of the games, and the better graphics as it goes along.
I was planning on buying it but the description on PSN isn't very helpful, which games of the KH Universe does it contain and are the all playable(358/2 & recoded as well) can they be played as well or no
i know this video is old. cna I play these games if I never have played a kingdom hearts game before? i bought this and kingdom hearts 3 it was a bundle for 1.5+2.5 and 3
Am I the only one who abused the Drive Form buffer? You're invincible during the entire buffer period, which means if timed right you can ride out some crazy attacks from the Super Bosses. I agree it needed to be fixed, however it had benefits when used correctly.
I've never played KH but I really want to and I don't know if I should buy this one or Kingdom Hearts HD II.8 Final Chapter Prologue PS4, what would you recommend me to do guys?
Is the darkness really evil? Just think a little bit... In Kingdom Hearts X / UX / XBC came some unknown things with black skin into the world and what did the Keyblade wielders? They killed them. For every hit from a Heartless are more then 3 coming from the Keyblade wielders... And this just because they entered their world!!! But this isn't everything... The Keyblade wielders used the corridors of darkness [The transportation of the heartless] and killed them there... After all the Keyblade wielders begun the Keyblade war and not the heartless. 100 years later [In the realm of light] Aqua was banished into the realm of darkness. Just image a person with the same skin and weapon like the ones, that killed tons of your friends comes into your village. What will you do? Go to him right. And thanks to the tutorial Aqua must hit the Heartless before they hit her. So this "monster" is in your village and it is killing your friends like the ones long ago. With that said you can understand, why the mirror said: "Only your heart is empty enough to be a demons" If you wanna say, that the Heartless in KH1 and after killed reasonless tons of good people, then I answer, that this weren't Real Heartless. Those Heartless were made of hearts and those also made nobody with their bodys... And this balance between light and darkness is [If you look after that, what the protagonists are doing] to destroy every dark thing until it isn't moving anymore. Eraqus: Aqua. You don't have darkness, so you can be a Keyblade master. Terra. I saw a little bit darkness on your hand. That does mean you are weak and you can't get the master tittle. Mikey: Axel. Why do you use the corridors of darkness? Are you stupid? Minie: This Crystal protects us from darkness, so that only light can lives here. Just think a little bit...
This is actually an interesting concept you have going here. It's true-- the Keyblades bearers could in fact be biased in favor of light. But they're all just following what they know best-- darkness is untamed and wild. It was clear to even the idiots that darkness is overwhelming and it was merely a sense of perspective to call it's nature 'chaotic'. I'll actually keep this in mind, that perhaps the Master of Masters knows something about this. Perhaps he started the bandwagon? Who knows as of now but interesting thought regardless.
Light is positive emotion like Empathy, happiness, and loyalty. Darkness is negative emotions like anger, despair, and greed. Thing is, you can abuse Empathy just as easily as anger. It's as you said above, darkness is not inherently evil, it is simply an easier source of power for already evil people to utilize. As for the Heartless, you're thinking too deep into it. A Heartless is a heart without a Body or Spirit, and whose body is made of darkness. A Heart is memories and emotions. Emotions often block out memories when they run wild, so most Heartless act on base instinct, on their emotions. That's how the Mushroom Heartless can be docile, they don't have any drive to collect hearts. The Heartless are monsters, but that does not make them evil. Maybe if Keybladers tried to tame them (like The Organization or Maleficent) then they wouldn't need to free the hearts from their dark vessels.
Edoardo Cremente lol, that & the fight with Ursula/Kurt zisa plus kh2 Donald would heal me right when Sora dies. & Yeah chain of memories he's no different.
Tbh, you just stated the obvious expectations when it comes to porting a game over to a stronger console. Of course load times would be lessened, and the performance would be better because it's running on better hardware. This is what everyone *expected* when this collection was first announced. What people *hoped* for is that the PS3 version's bugs would be fixed. Not only did that not happen (at launch), but the 60fps fucked with the game's physics since they didn't bother playtesting it to avoid issues occurring. Save crashing is thing now, which is an automatic turn off. The cons still outweigh the pros until the cons are all completely fixed.
WARNING, if you have not played the old games and have already played (and enjoyed KH3) DO NOT play the old games unless you are fully prepared to be let down by the game play. KH3 has made huge improvements to the fluidity of combat and movement. By all means, take in the full story via timeline or recap videos, or even watch the cutscene movies available. But the old games did not age well and do not compare to the new game in gameplay.
So I have a question about PS3 Drive Form buffering. Everyone's always saying that it's annoying because the enemies are moving while you're in Drive Form, but since they can't hit you, isn't that kind of a good thing? Having 6 seconds of invincibility is just amazing when Lingering Will decides to pop out his desperation move. During my level 1 playthrough, it saved my ass SO many times. I would go off screen and come back just so that my Drive Form's long loading would come back. Am I the only one who thought like this?
can you explain why Xehanort gave Ventus to Eraqus when he would need him at a later time, and why Mickey didn't know that old man Xehanort and Apprentice Xehanort where the same person its not like its a common name
So was summoning ever a problem on the ps3 version? i mean the times it takes for the summon to pop up Was it ever a problem or did it always stay the same as the original Kingdom Hearts 2/1? (not that i'm complaining because it always worked very fast for me)
Junior Stop Motions Not that I know of. The summons usually came out at the correct speed due to start up animations and not having to buffer so it's only right that they didn't fuck that up too.
I think they should have lowered the price to 39, but the game is still amazing and makes a new feel of the gameplay just like the Dream Drop Distance upgrade
There was a massive 4.5gb update so I'm hoping this fixes the frame rate issues. I've been playing Breath of the Wild so odds are, I'm going to love it no matter what but so glad the loading issues are gone.
Just started Birth By Sleep on the PS3 last week and the buffer is the main reason why I haven't used D-Links that often. I suppose that, and I'm a traditionalist of sorts. I just go in to hack and slash stuff. Gotta say I'm a bit disappointed by the Mirage Arena. I mean, the first thing you see to buy in the shop is Group Cure, but considering they cut out all multiplayer aspects, it's pretty much worthless. It's like trying to solo an MMO. Possible, but it feels empty. If not online, I wish they could have at least kept LAN or local splitscreen multiplayer. At least they could have kept it in the turn based Command Boards.
Get this version. The save crashes will probably be fixed through a patch sooner or later but Square is never gonna make a patch for the PS3 versions so ultimately the PS4 version will be so much better when its done.
I don't know really. The first patch really only focused on actual gameplay and also I imagine that fixing save crashes could take a while so it just wasn't ready in time for the first patch. But then again I could be wrong and they just can't fix it.
Tbh I cheesed the drive form buffering like it makes you invincible so like, ya know, used it to my advantage in some parts, like having it last out a combo so you dont have to deal with it lol
