The Gotham Knights TV Show is DISGUSTING! 

Here’s what they should’ve done in my opinion: Batman dies, each member of the bat family handles it differently. There are two antagonists in season 1; The Suspected Killer… and Red Hood. They go after Red Hood for going on a killing spree, but if it wasn’t for Jason’s severe methods, they would’ve had a much harder time finding the killer. I could go on and on, but I’ll just say that by the end of season 1, Jason stops the killing and joins the Batfamily to get the killer. What do y’all think?

They could have simply made a show about a universe where Batman died and Nightwing has to jump in to impose order with the help of Tim and Barbara. Red Hood could go all vigilante with Damian and end up on opposite sides until Azrael shows up as the new "Batman" and they have to team up to kick Azrael's ass.

Why not a Gotham spinoff? Make Bruce Wayne from Gotham actually the Batman! They had some awesome characters and actors in that series.

Literally the last time a Batman show featured Batman in live action was in the 1960s. I know for many years there were some legal issue with live actions Batman TV shows but they have the rights now so they have no excuse. It’s clear that the CW doesn’t have any faith in what they’re producing so instead of making an actual Batman show status slap his logo onto a group of Random Nobodies. Now I don’t mind the fact that they made a new character for the show instead of Dick Grayson, I don’t even mind that they made two, but none of the key members of the bat family are in this? Not even Alfred, who has been a key part of Batman‘s universe since he was introduced? You’re telling me Batman dies and not a single Robin tries to fill the void? Imagine if we saw Jason Todd taking to the streets as a violent vigilante just opposed with Dick Grayson taking a mantle of Batman. In the world were Batman is gone it would be interesting to see two of Batman sons debating on how to handle crime now that he’s no longer there. But apparently that kind of writing is too much to expect from the CW.

So the reason were not seeing batfam members like Bruce and Dick is because theyre in other live action properties and dc doesnt want to confuse casual fans. A lot of people have trouble understanding that Xmen werent in Mcu because of legal things so two live action Dick Graysons arent gonna fly. This is why the suicide squad didnt get a CW show spinoff like they planned originally, because the 2016 suicide squad was coming out. Another case is Batman. They want him in movies and another batman in a live action show would confuse people, hence why batman is only camoed or referenced in nonmovie live action projects despite being in literally every DC animation. While there are other lesser known memebers like Tim Drake and Damian Wayne, their likley being in projects we dont know about and this feels really low on Warner Bros radar, hence why really underused characters like Carrie Kelly and original characters like Turner are in here.

This is what made me buy the DVD collection of Batman the animated series, because that is the best representation of Batman that anyone will ever get. I am a big fan of DC comics and there is so much they could do with this but sadly its CW. They keep killing batman, they keep making idiotic heroes, they keep screwing up.
