The reference to the young man's shooting involved the owner and resident of the chapel James Eways. He was the son of a wealthy developerer but also member of the Pagans Motorcycle gang. He was involved in a vicious and violent crime in 1969 known as the Dreamland Park murders
Thanks for the info. This lead me down a rabbit hole. Seems nuts dude only got 5 years for intentionally murdering someone regardless if he was being “harassed” or not. That’s after he got off completely free and clear from his dreamland murders too ::
Yep read the book on the dreamland park murders. I have a feiend who lives right across the street from the chapel. Right after i read the book i was at the Penn Werner and who walks in!?. Gary Eways.....have ro admit i was a little spooked.

Incredible video. I spent a few years of my youth living right near there on south mountain and never knew the real story. But all my friends and I knew it was creeeepy :)
