Congratulations bro, I used to think I’d get either a Camaro or a 5.0 until one of my ex crashed her car and they gave her a v6 challenger as a rental. Soon as I drove the challenger it felt just right, all I could think was, if the V6 feels this good I wonder what the V8 feels like, not a single regret, it’s a 2015 paid for, and now I’m thinking of investing on the wide body kit for it.
If I was a millionaire, I’d buy all three of these. This was a classic era of America’s modern muscle cars….and you hearing this from a long-time JDM fan. These cars here were all great.
The Challenger’s splitter would function a lot better if the owner took off the yellow packaging/shipping strip. It pretty much nullifies any aerodynamic function it was designed to accomplish.
How so? The main function of a splitter is to let as little air below the car as possible (as far as I know), and I don't see how a bit of tape on the front would stop it from doing that.
Ever wonder why the factory places them in the 1st place ? To prevent from messing up the splitter, the thickness of the protective yellow guards don’t affect the flow as much as your saying lol either way when you own this car , do whatever you feel like doing
@@jesseavila4476 it just depends on your taste. If you like modern sharp edges then yeah the challenger looks kinda boring. But if you’re an old school muscle fan then it really is a beautiful car because it’s the closest looking to the 60-70s muscle car than the other muscle cars
The SS is the fastest of the 3 rides with the GT at a very close 2nd. but 1st. in sound as the Challenger is a blast to drive with that low end torque and has lots more room on the inside and is a much more comfortable ride to drive than the other two!
Camaro SS is the fastest in a Quarter Mile or track. After the Quarter Mile, the Mustang GT will blow by both of them. It's the fastest at high speeds, but the other two get to 60 mph faster. I've owned and raced all three. That's how it went down every single time.
@@thullraven1 I can't agree on this. I have a 14 5.0 and from digs most scats and 392s stand no chance until maybe after 120 wh3n th3 race been over. I got beat by one 392 with cams and tune tho. I pretty sure the 10 speeds leaves scta easily. I've seen it.
Ok, I understand its slower but people act like its ridiculously slow. To 60mph, all these cars can potentially do under 4 seconds. Quarter mile, all are hovering low-mid 12s depending on transmission, options, etc.
So funny about the Camaro: If you don't add the 1LE package, it's not even fair because the other 2 cars have such ridiculous upgrades over an SS with zero mods. If you DO add the 1LE package, it's not even fair to the other 2 cars because no matter what mods you add they won't be able to keep up with the 1LE. 🤷♂️😆😆😆😆🤣🤣
I love the retro look of the Dodge. It's just a throwback to the muscle car era. It has that "brute force" look. The Camaro isn't so retro, but it's modern looks are very attractive. The Mustang's appearance is improving, but I've just never been a fan of its rear end design. The "GT" is an abbreviation for Grand Touring, which technically, it's specialization isn't centered on performance, but touring, which means comfort while driving, especially after many hours. If I were to drop 50k on a sports car, I'd probably go with a Z06 Corvette, 2013 or newer, depending. Although not a "new" sports car, the performance for the price will blow any of these cars out of the water.
I wish the tune was Danger Zone or the intro of the movie going to the song! Still love all 3 cars! But my personal choice is the Challenger for me while my partner wants the Mustang GT 5.0 in red colour too! Thanks!
I could have gotten a Camaro, Mustang or a Challenger. I chose a 2020 Challenger RT Blacktop Package in Octane Red. I got it NEW for $32.7 here in Northern California last year. No regrets 😊
I fking hate how we're going for smaller displacement and electric engines. I had 2 Mustangs and 1 Dodge Charger. The V8s are everything. I don't want to drive a 4cylinder or electric muscle car in the future. I would really love to get back in a s559 Mustang GT with a 6speed in the near future.
I have had trans ams ‘06 GTO, G8’s, charger , Camaro, not recently ‘22 Stang GT premium I just sold .. not sure if I want new ‘24 Stang, go back to s540 ‘2023, or the challenger scat pack or a Camaro ….decisions decisions
I have a 2020 MUSTANG GT PP1 in the uk we do not get the strut brace or the 2 extra gauges which i think is wrong as we pay a lot more money for a mustang here than the USA so come on ford stop short changing us
I really want a mustang, but the thing making me think twice is that dreadful tick they get. Some drive them anyways with no problems and then some have the motors pulled with scoring in the cylinder walls. Would love everyone’s opinions on what next hot rod I get.
Go with the 10 speed coyote bro they don’t have to much problems just little stuff like the other cars as well but the 5.0 is the best if you want to build it
At Ford quality is job none! My 2021 Mustang GT premium was a big lemon. I could live with the cheap plastic interior and glitchy electronics but the clucky garbage 6 speed manual transmission was just garbage! I'm not the only one who thinks so, look at the class action that has been launched against Ford. Fortunately I was able to sell it and buy a real car from another manufacturer. It's no wonder Ford stopped building cars...I'll never buy another Ford...EVER!
Challenger for the win! HP, room and comfort. Having owned all 3 I think Challenger is the best all around. The Camaro would be uncomfortable on a descent road trip. The Mustangs quality is meh.
Maybe just me but the Camaro and Mustang just look ugly to me. Wish they kept their 2016 looking front and rear ends, those are the absolute best in my opinion.
@@predalien1413 it’s about $40k+ more than the other top models. you put the extra money into say a gt500 and you’re absolutely killing a demon. face it. if you have the same or similar power as a dodge you’re killing them. built like bricks.
8:22 “that’s the one you really want” nah I’m good. I’ll take the 10spd tranny over the 6spd any day of the week. The A10s are crazy and pretty much faster🏆
A10's are alot faster!! Had my fair share of manuals..im done with that!! Love my 2ss 1le A10..its amazing!! And its just as much fun to drive as a 6 speed!
@@Kev2980 as it should be considering it costs twice as much. And don’t quote the c8 MSRP at 60k as they are nearly impossible to find new for under 95k
As a A10 5.0 owner I haven't been beat by either one yet on the strip or highway. So I'd have to agree with original poster. I actually beat my buddies scat pack while he was on drag radials and I had stock tires. I'm talking no mods. If modded it's the Mustang all the way without a doubt in the 1/4 and roll races but the Camaro is in a different league than both on a road course.
Challenger is the best looking by far in my opinion. Camaro is best overall sports car by far and the Mustang is, well you see one on every street corner. Camaro beats the Mustang in every single performance metric there is. 0-60 Camaro, 1/4 mile Camaro, Track Camaro and it's not even close. Mustangs are more comfortable and is a nice car but if you want performance go Camaro SS 1LE. You want bad ass get the Scat pack widebody, you want the same thing everyone else has get the Mustang
I can easily tell you why the Camaro will fall off of the face of the planet, because both of the other versions come stock with V8's. Chevy is still going with the puny V6 for the Camaro. Even the base models of the other ones come with a V8, Chevy is trying to charge more if you want a V8 in theirs. Boo Chevy!
