That's just how translating works. The dialogue and the subtitles deliberately don't match in movies to attempt to illustrate how languages differ. Very rarely can you translate something word for literal word into another language, especially when the languages are as radically different as English and Mandarin are. By making the subtitled dialogue slightly different than the spoken dialogue, movies try to convey the differences in language.

@@spamhere1123 -- You are right about translation ethos, but that's not why movies make the dialogue different to the subtitles. They do that so that audiences won't get bored by having two of the same lines coming at them. Movies INSULT our intelligence, remember? They're not here to educate or edify us, just entertain and insult.

Or I guess you could also say "The only one of its kind" whichever works. Point is, the translation was fairly accurate. As accurate as a Chinese idiom can get

I suspect they're actually doubting his skill. However, to say that directly would be an unthinkable challenge to his honor, so it's addressed indirectly by questioning the quality of the bow to induce him to prove its quality, and in the process prove himself to have the skill he claims.

Crossbow allow you to shot arrow faster speed and more accuracy but reload slower and crossbow also heavy Bow are versitile since you can shot more than 1 arrow if you skilled enough,bow are lighter weight than crossbow.Bow only good depend on how good the user are.

For people questioning why the people behind the pillar clapped, they probably had a view of Pedro throwing the bowl/cup up and Matt shooting it. Then when they see the arrows fly towards them/the pillar and the cup/bowl not hit the ground, its easy to guess what happened. Also, they did get up to walk around the pillar to see where it landed on the arrows.
