I remember this movie. When I first saw the trailer I brushed it off with, "looks like shit." Then I heard and read articles of everyone being mad how it is a racist movie. Then one day I decided to watch it on Netflix cause I was bored. It's actually a good movie and didn't find it offensive. (I'm Chinese myself)

I still do not understand the thought processes behind the people that decided that creating soldiers that go over the wall and stab things and then get taken back up, was a good idea. There was the part where there were blades in the wall that basically cut the creatures in half as they climbed up, but that still doesn’t help me understand why they decided to train soldiers to do the job that those blades could’ve done. Why not just have more blades along the wall? One line at the base, one in the middle, and one near the top. That way you don’t need to send people over the wall. Hell, and even better idea instead of those soldiers jumping over it would be to build towers extending out from the wall that people can drop bombs from. It’s a cool movie and an interesting one to see, but it’s still weird

This movie was pretty cool, but there were some concepts that were just really stupid. The people jumping off of the wall serve no purpose. You're just throwing away soldiers who could be firing arrows or helping to load siege equipment. Or hell, they would be at the very edge of the wall with spears to fend off any of the weird chompy things with spears.
