For those who wonder! My Brothers in Metal have never failed me, i have fallen down and there has always been plenty of arms helping me up and the same when i see a Man down in the mosh. This is a Brotherhood, a special Bond
Was in a pit for the first time in my life. I fell, my shoe and my hat flew off, it took about 0.3seconds for someone to help me up, another dude put my shoe on, and another one my hat. 0.5sec after they made sure I'm okay, they pushed me back in 🤣 10/10 would do again
Oh man that is a great comment. Shall we ask them in for tea Thomas? I shall make the egg and cress sandwiches. Crustless, of course! we aren't savages now, are we Thomas?' 😁 'Do you know Thomas if the scones are fresh and please be a dear and get us some clotted cream.' I love you man!
Ilya S I'm sure just like a person playing sports, they don't care what Insurance Companies think. I'm sure they'd love the percentage of alcohol related emergency room trips too, but that's part of the business. They're gambling that you won't need the insurance and we're gambling that we'll need it. You know the house always wins.
Doctor: Ma'am your son has experienced serious head trauma and broken four ribs, how did this happen? Woman: I don't know he just said he was going on a flight! Doctor: These injuries look serious, did they find your son in a battlefield? Woman: No a mosh pit! Doctor: Oh
I can't express how much I love the way moshpits work. You could push and shove against everyone within your range with no consequences. Its just so chaotic and Intense I LOVE IT!
It's not as violent as it seems. I've been in bigger walls of death than that and its really nothing as long as you keep your balance and protect your face, lol
@Eric Kim lol what about the turkic/hunic bois comin at u on a horse with a funny looking bow that has the ability to pierce your armor as if it is paper. Thats some scary shit.
BeckyNeedsToStop nah your good, I’m sure there would be people around to get your back, everyone is very kind and protective at these concerts surprisingly
I’m 5’2” but ppl always watch your back (mostly if you’re short bc they know that you’re most likely to fall and it can be really dangerous). As a girl the worst thing is the sexual harassment but the smash and etc. is kinda more civilized
Reading through the comments here has made me realize that most people don't understand mosh pits at all. People think that we are aggressive and barbaric, I wish people would understand that most mosh pits are great stress-relievers, and that when anyone gets hurt, we help those people out. It's friendly violent fun, not hateful angry madness.
well said. I've been moshing for a little less than 30 years. there is NOTHING like the camaraderie in a good pit. i'll be 50 here next month, I'm waiting for Cannibal Corpse to swing through. I want that to be my first be after I turn 50.
When you’re the lead vocalist of a preforming metal band, and you would prefer the crowd waited for the climax of your song to run into one another: 0:43
Ruokos I mean... that’s when he reigned as emperor. But I would have to imagine people having a good time bumping each other around doesn’t capture a bunch of people brutally pummeling each other to death in the blood and the mud.
Haha I took my friend (who is a hip hop fan) to the Slipknot show. We were in the front. Mosh pit fucking started out of nowhere. He was like: NIGGA AY THA FUCK YOU DOIN'? Then he got smacked down, and I decided not to tell him what a pit is.
I’m not a metal head at all but I will say this. I would feel 100 times safer here than at a rap concert, mainly cause of how aware the performers are about the audience and have a reputation for calling out BS they see.
Now that i think of it.. Metal is one of the most hospitable and kindest communities ever.. Any race can join in, No metal head will judge you for not listening to metal, the people are friendly... Well thats how i see it because i just became a metalhead myself last year
I agree I am a metal head (mostly listen to DragonForce or Slayer) I believe that metal songs have a better meaning to you and it's fun to listen to but until people get their heads out of their ass about Justin Bieber being a god or Nicki Minaj songs have meanings metal will be for real music listeners
In class this was used as an example of a nucleus and inside that nucleus there was the protons, neutrons, and the Electrons. The people on onside were the protons and the people on the other side were the neutrons they attracted to each other. Or they hate each other.
Never been in a mosh pit before or even to a concert, but I'm going to Knot Fest come this September and plan on joining in. And lemme just say looking at this, I'm excited as all hell
When a metal band says kill, it doesn't matter who says go, its total chaos unleashing. You just don't stop something like that. Its like trying to stop a train.
