This is gold! Torrey told me this story years ago. I’ve never laughed more in my life. He’s a great guy and HOF story teller!! Thank you so much for getting this in video!!! Now get him to tell the story about when he went “hunting” at his in-laws house.

Torrey was always a great pro - always nice in person and had time for fans when some players wanted to get the heck away from the rink. Part of one of the best Sharks squad IMO - 2010-2011. I have his game worn jersey from that season. I got on TV because of him too when Heater and Seto first came back to SJ with the Wild and Practiced at Sharks Ice the day before the game. Feels like yesterday to me

Torrey Mitchell is one my favorite Sharks players of all time. He scored the most amazing goal where he got a break away on a penalty kill, got tripped on the way, dropped down to one knee, got back up and did a forward hand to backhand - I think - (may have been the other way around) and scored.
