With humor and persistence, filmmaker Morgan Spurlock dives into the hidden but influential world of brand marketing on his quest to make a completely sponsored film about sponsorship. (And yes, onstage naming rights for this talk were sponsored too. By whom and for how much? He'll tell you.)

...so said the unemployable man. one lacking utility...value. If you are not marketing yourself in any interview you are wasting your time as well as the prospective employer's and that will not be appreciated...in the strictest sense of that financial term. It is the most depreciating activity in which to engage as it takes and refuses to give..

I love the aspect where he had to go to numerous people and companies where he asked them about their brand because when you really do find your brand you do find your strating journey so that you know where you can start heading , he also should how with a couple print they were able to reach more than 900 million people and that it with before they were able to distribute the movies, he showed every possible aspect and went to extreme length to be able to do such thing, this is hands - down my favorite Ted Talk I have very watched.

I want to suggest the subject of Morgan's next analysis - the negativity of comments on forums. Quite shocked by the dogmatic comments from some, what happened to opinion? While I might not agree with everything in this talk it was thought provoking and interesting, superbly presented and somewhat fun as well. I'd suggest that we try to take away something positive from all interactions.

danpt2000 if Ted pays, Ted must take the money somewhere, so sponsors. when all is linked to sponsors, the freedom of speech becomes zero. This is why you pay Ted (you pay the lights, the theatre etc), and Ted doesn't pays you, because Ted intentionally chooses not to be linked to sponsors.

No, absolutely note! He hid what was otherwise a very boring TedTalk in a click-baity title which suggested entertainment. However, what we got was essentially a long, drawn-out marketing advertisement about a film which attempts to give the viewer a transparent look at marketing. Basically, he used the same disguises large marketing firms use to sell us crap, but he did it to sell what is probably a shitty documentary. Either he planned this, in which case he is very intelligent, or he didn't, in which case he is an idiot.

In the guise of a story of not being able to pull it off and then doing so.The subtle misdirection and manipulation is uncanny if you look closely. The marketing industry is really a wolf in sheep's clothing. He gave the title money away because his pocket is filled with the money he received from all the companies mentioned in the talk.
