Film by Rohan Patkar and Ritesh Sathe on Vanrakshak Aakash Sahu. Pench Tiger Reserve, Seoni, Madhya Pradesh in collaboration with MP Tiger Foundation Society organized a "Documentary Film Competition" titled - “A Day in the life of Vanrakshak’.
This competition is organized with the aim to make the common public aware about the efforts which a forest guard puts in on a daily basis to protect the forests and wildlife; by showcasing their daily tasks through the film. The participants for this competition were asked to shoot by spending two days (48 hours) with the forest guards posted in Buffer areas of Pench Tiger Reserve.
They shot their documentary within those two days only and each team has created a documentary of 4 minutes from the footage they have collected.
