BTO as well. Randy Bachman is a legend. Why Jann Wenner had a hair across his ass about admitting these two bands to the HOF when he let in all those pop groups and disco ducks is beyond me.
I’ve heard all their songs for years and they still give me goosebumps. You guys rock! So much amazing music out there. I’m 73 and so grateful to have been a part of some incredible decades of music. There’s nothing my husband and I like better than to listen to nonstop music after dinner. 😊
Just incredible music. I could go on and on but think it’s all been said here. Actually been listening to these songs for the last several hours. I’m 80 now so for me it started with Elvis, rockabilly, English invasion and these guys. So much great music back then. No dancers and costume changes. The real deal!
Look at that crowd in 2003 Toronto! Burton Cummings and Randy Bachman are living legends. They are still touring 2022. Randy is 79 & Burton will be 75 on New Years Eve! They're like the everedy bunnies! Keep Rockin'Burton and Randy!🇨🇦🎹🎸✌️🎶👍🥰 I love this band! Donnie & Bill too! Garry Peterson is the beat to The Guess Who from the beginning!
I´m so grateful for having lived those times, when hearing for the first time that unbelievable guitar sustain in American Woman sent shivers down your spine!
Aiaiaiai .aiaiai...PQP..essa é a minha Galera...!!!!! Nada de mulheres nuas no palco mostrando suas bundas, nada de tatuagem no Ânus, nada de apelação, simplesmente M U S I C A...verdadeiro Rock and Roll....! Maravilha.!
So true. I don't know if my speakers did it any justice but the radio was turned as loud as it could possibly be cranked when this song first played in my convertible, wow
It’s 2024 and The Guess Who’s music is as fresh as when they first played it. I was at one of the three concerts at the Paramount Theater in Seattle that became their Live at the Paramount album. I still remember the chills I felt when Randy Bachman played that American Woman opening riff after Burton’s intro, with his back to the audience in the spotlight, because it was crucially important to coordinate the guitar with the drums. Great music from the all time best Canadian band.
When Paul McCartney said Randy Bachman was the best Rocker in history even Randy was speechless when he was told what Paul said about him. But it shows how good he is.
I lived my adolescence in a communist country (Cuba) and this music was persecuted and prohibited, but when I heard this band my life changed and I became addicted to rock and never gave up that addiction.
Wow...glad I seen this video...the Guess Who has never been better. ..Randy's shredding is amazing...Burton's vocals amazing.. what a piece of Canadiana rock history right here 🇨🇦
He isTHEE FUCKIN BALLS. THA K GOD HE DIDNT OVERDOSE. WHAT A K99L KO9L KOOLMAN ABD BAND. THEY ARE WICKED PISSA. L9VE THESE GENIUSES. WOW WOW FRED. NIGHTFENCER GATEKEEPER. BRAINTREE BOSTON FRED AT NOBLE FENCE. FUCKIN SPECTACULAR NEWYEARS DAY. 12 NOON. 2O23. CRAZY
It is in my top five guitar solos I ever heard. I mean Freebird from Lynrd Skynyrd is the only one I can think of to match what I guess was Bachman. Nice work, I who was born way after these guys can appreciate rock art when I hear it.
My 1st car was a 1957 Chevy Belaire convertible..........& in the glove box was an 8 track tape. Yes. The Guess Who.. These very tunes. They were outstanding!
Wow Randy still has that trademark sound and tone on his guitar and all of the energy intact. The whole band sounds amazing with all of the vocal harmonies perfect and Burton pulling it off.
I was at SARS FEST in July of 2003 and their last song..."Takin' Care Of Business" blew everyone away. Can you imagine 450,000 fans all collectively clapping hands above their heads during the chorus. That's why you'll never see that clip. Rolling Stones had rights to omit any part of concert since it was promoted by them. They didn't want to be upstaged and that goes for AC/DC as well.
