Trruuuue truuue. Real shit though, this seemed like the average common take back in 2015. "Billionaire that acknowledges climate change! Woohoo!", it's the bare minimum. The sheer number of people I've watched go from this view of Elon to understanding the dipshittery of him by at least 2020 is pretty astonishing. I think that's likely reflective of my age, being a highschooler in 2015 where a lot of my peers were still gullible (myself included). That and more attention was brought to Elon in a more critical light in general since a few years ago, as people have brought things to the surface and he's made more of an ass of himself.

I’ve never heard anything about tax evasion could you send me a source? 4. The fact that Teslas are blatant misinformation. In fact, the four Tesla models currently on the road are *the most* safe cars *on earth* . The AI increases safety, not the other way around, and Teslas have a very low center of gravity due to the battery being on the bottom of the car preventing flip overs, there is a large crumple zone in the front due to a lack of engine, and many more features that make Tesla safe. Please get your facts straight. I know that Elon has a lot of things that are wrong with him, but the work he and his companies, workers and engineers are doing is critically important and outweigh the wrongs multiple times over.

@@burper-oe6tm when he said "public transport" he didn't mean teslas. He meant stuff like: the Vegas+dugout loop, the hyperloop and (worst of all) earth to earth rocket transportation. I'm going to focus mostly on the rocket idea, because I'm not qualified to say much more on them other than 'the Vegas+dugout loop are just far worse trains'. Put simply, straping people to rockets that go at 3-4G and barrelling them across the planet is a terrible idea. Not only does the 3-4G part exclude half of the population, but it would also make it a living hell to actually go on one. Not to mention how long it would take to actually get on one, based on how far they would have to be from their respective cities, essentially increasing the time taken to get to wherever you want to go beyond the point of practicality. (around 6 hours including tsa.) Rockets are also very dangerous, because (again) put simply, they work by sending a constant explosion down their bottom side to propel them into space. That shouldn't be the basis for a public transportation system that runs daily. I have no major qualifications in that field, yet I'm very aware of why it's stupid. How was someone like elon (a supposed 'genius') not able to think "hmm maybe this won't work" before making a godanm video for the public on it.

He overpromises, creates hype in order to boost his company's stocks and then delivers overpriced products which are years behind industry standard. You can see how well his hyperloop project turned out, which was promised as a vacuum tunnel capable of traveling vehicles hundreds of miles per hour, but which ended up being a single lane tunnel multiple times the cost of adding a lane to the road, all while being less efficient. His "self-driving" cars are basically glorified cruise control, which also easily catch on fire and swerve towards civilians and crash into other cars. Apart from some code in the 90s, Elon Musk has not invented a single thing. He bought the rights to PayPal and Tesla after they were already founded by other people. He's also a union buster who exploits his workers. Basically, he's only had success in overinflating his company's stock value after receiving billions of dollars in government subsidies during the pandemic (during which he tried to downplay the severity of the virus so that his factories would remain open).

No you just dont like Elon. Something i can understand. But Tesla and spacex are more successful then ever and have for ever changed their industry's and the world. Before elon electric cars was a joke. Now governments are setting timelines for the ban of ICE cars. Spacex have landed and reflown like 70 rockets and put more mass into space then the rest of the world combined last year. And are getting closer and closer with their development of a fully reusable system bringing costs down even further. All things that without elons drive and personal investments would not exist today.
