For any blokes out there questioning their sexuality at the mere thought of wearing pink - I'm a bloke too, wear a hot pink watch, have two kids and its fine. After all it's 2022 (so my hubby keeps reminding me).

I think Nomos dominates its niche, modern, minimalistic watches. It also provides a lot of value at their price point. However, due to their bauhaus style and bold colours, I struggle to imagine wearing it when I get older👴🏻 Wanting a timeless watch, something I can keep wearing no matter my age, and maybe pass down, my desire for a Nomos watch has begun to soften. Objectively speaking though, they are nice looking watches.

In-house in that they make all the parts themselves. But the architecture is originally from Peseux 7001, later purchased by ETA.

The gear ratio of the winding system in that movement is great. You can hand wind it from dead to full in like 15 seconds with ease

Great review Gringa! Thoroughly enjoy your videos. Something I really appreciate is how thin they designed this watch. I have the neomatik club campus in blue and the 39mm size. It was my first luxury watch, and will never leave the collection. I feel the club is a true strap monster that can work just as well at the beach as it does in formal attire.

Sorry, can't say anything bad, I recently got a future orange! This is my first "funky" looking watch, but it's a lot more versatile than at first glance. It's a good summer watch with the light grey strap, yes, but just change the strap to brown or black, and it's a good year round watch. This is just so fun, and comfortable to wear. I don't think it will be my last Nomos.

My favorite watch as well. I have the 36 mm club campus with the silver dial, though it is kinda champagne-y too. I like the longer lugs as it makes the watch look like a tiny pocket watch on the wrist, while wearing larger - kinda like a very refined fleiger

Recently bought my 4th Nomos…..absolutely epic brand. It feels like being part of a special family!

I owned a Club in silver. Great, great piece. I found the 18mm steel Nomos bracelet that I added as well. Nice bracelet. However, I realized I'm not a small seconds fan. I actually use seconds in my day to day so center seconds is preferred. I also love a date. I know horror. Size, price, specs, design, movement, though: top notch. And the pink looks GREAT on you, gringa! Go for it!

I have a limited edition club campus already, but this pink dial really makes we want to add a second!

I just watched an alternative site that previewed the NOMOS in Orange .The reviewer had waited since 2019 to get it and it's now September 2023. I am not a fan of it to be honest. Then I saw your review on the right hand side but the pink version. There is an Australian Bird that's called a Pink and Grey galah and it sports a combination of pink and Grey feather's. This one you are reviewing reminds me of that nature combination on the bird and maybe that is why it seems to POP well. This is a strange phenomonum because I don't like Hublot however the tiffany powder blue Big Bang is one that I do like although the rest of the big bang series i don't. I notice TEDDY B is also saying good things about the NOMOS too.

The Nomos Club is a great watch. I'm undecided on the California dial layout. I don't typically like Roman numerals on watches, but this is done so well it is kind of hard to resist. That and it only being half the dial. Wabi sabi - YES! I had never heard this term, but I love it and it can be used to describe my love for many quirky watches. I didn't realize I was coming for an educational video, but here we are. Also, I suspect Gringa has a hair person for doing the video work. It looks fantastic. Nice work on the video editing. Everything flowed really nicely.

I love Nomos ... I own a Club (automatic) and a Tangente (manual). SUPERB design! Plus I have always been a big fan of manual wind watches so, though the Club is the finer watch, I love both watches equally. And I have a fairly wide wrist, so the long lugs don't pose a problem for me. Great watches, great movements, great design and fantastic price points! A totally unique watchmaker that you can't really go wrong with. Highly recommended! By the way Gringa, that Nomos fits you beautifully!!! Hold onto it if you can!

I’d definitely rock the grey model as my only watch if I didn’t already have 3 other watches (including a Nomos Orion). It really fits my look and can do it all!

The grey or orange are wonderful choices as well. Would love to view one of these " hands on". Very nice of Nomos if they give you the watch , but, that was a well earnt positive review.

You know Britt, I think you hit on a great combo there. The Oxford shirt with the pink dialed watch is kind of a preppy cool look that really does work! And not in the way that says "I live off the income of two trust funds" kind of way. If that makes any sense at all.

I would totally rock the pink dial and I'm a 6ft 2in geezer. It's just fun, summer and playful. I do have the Future Orange version in 38.5mm case size which works perfectly on my 7.5 in wrists. Not my first venture into more trippy dials as I also have a Junghans Max Bill with the Baby Blue dial that's another Bauhaus-inspired design fused with a sense of playfulness that's not too uptight. I would certainly seek an "accommodation" with Nomos if, as their comments suggests, they're willing to entertain an administrative error on that watch. Tell them that you need it more than they do.

That’s a great choice! Especially for someone just getting in to collecting, just want one nice watch on a budget or something that’s a beater but isn’t a tool watch. I’ve recommended Nomos to a couple people as their graduation watches. One thing though, wearing that nubuck during summer? Oof, that’s a really quick way to getting a stinky strap and wrist 😂

The pop of pink is so cute! 💖 If your outfit is mostly greys, the hot pink is a good signal of the Watch Gringa personality to other people.

Manual wind is dope!

The California dials are so rare to come by yet Nomos typography balances out the dial nicely. It’s a shame that the Clubs with California Dials only come in a covered caseback 😭. The Velour strap is different and it seems to appreciate with daily use so it doesn’t require any maintenance as opposed to leather straps. Great Video 👍👍

Sorely tempted by the orange or grey. A sapphire caseback would tip it over the edge for me. Wouldn't be at all surprised if I end up with one eventually!

Got my first Nomos 2 days ago, Club Neomatik 749 (silver dial, gold hands, 3001 movement, window caseback). Can't say enough about this; in fact if there's anything better than the watch itself, it's the Nomos in-house metal bracelet, which is - no joke - the best steel bracelet i've ever worn.

I have the 36mm Club Campus in Future Orange. I love the playfulness of the bold colour, as well as the watch dimensions, and California dial layout. Although I purchased it for summer wear, I find that I strap this on my wrist whenever I need a blast of something different from the typical diver and chronograph time pieces. The only fault I can think of is that the lume on the markers around the dial are very poor (not enough and uneven), but the lume on hands are good.

I think this watch fits your on screen personality perfectly. Assuming your actually personality is similar this watch is just quirky enough. Get the pink.

The Pepto Bismol dial wouldn't be my first choice, if I were considering this watch for myself. However, it looks good on you Gringa, and you have the wacky personality to pull it off.

Yes, the watch suits you much better than the Tudor. I really love this pink because it's such a strong pink. It should be a second watch, one that you might wear for special occasions and sometimes for everyday use. But I would definitely need an alternative watch to this watch.

This is a beautiful watch. I like the purple blue and the orange dial, but I am not sure about the case size: 36 or 38.5 for a 18 cm / 7 inch wrist? 🤔

I like Nomos a lot, and a popping summer watch is a big yes for me, but I can really only handle 1 out there dial in a collection and I'd argue my Zodiac Superseawolf in the watermelon colourway is even more perfect. And is also at the c£1k price, but hard to find new these days. And thanks for letting me know that watches are like tinder dates in that you need a week or so on the wrist to decide if they are a keeper...

Great review and as always, very entertaining. Yeah, so if you want negatives, it’s over a grand, isn’t very petite and yet is manual wind…. Really, throw an automatic in there, it makes sense as an everyday watch. I frowned at first seeing it, thanks to your posts ALL over Instagram. The Arabic and Roman numerals mixed was a strange choice. Now, however, I really like it. The symmetry that it gives to the dial is aesthetically very pleasing. Pretty cool watch, glad you like it. Maybe Papi will make a gift out of one if you’re lucky. 😉

I must confess I love the simplicity of Nomos. You're right (as usual) do not discount the smaller dial versions as that slim bezel and longer lug to lug make the watch look larger than the measurements. My Ludwig 36 certainly wears more like a 38 - 39 and being very slim that probably makes it look bigger on the wrist as well. I'm not sure about the mix of Arabic's and Roman numerals but I don't dislike it at all. Personally I'll pass on the pink but if Nomos introduced a lacquered oxblood red dial I might have difficulty not having a look at one. The extra water resistance for a daily understated watch with lume just might get more wrist time than my Ludwig but could not replace it. I've also been pondering the Tetra for a few years now but we will see if another Nomos gets to the top of my want, justify and afford list at some point.

Very cool watch. This Pink is Punk! Breaking up with he typical Bauhaus colours of NOMOS.

I always thought Nomos as the architect's watch: suave, restrained, Bauhaus and all that. But I love it when they use color to show out a bit! Only dislike is that it's a shame to cover up that pretty alpha movement. I'm sure it's done for cost or water resistance or something.

Nothing will ever make me like a California Dial watch. At least the small seconds hand makes it less egregious and almost bearable. Do they make a pink Casio F91W to get you through the NOMOS withdrawal?

They need to sort the lug to lug! Oversized lugs on a smaller watch is definitely a problem, even though its part of their design language.
