Haha I've forgotten to turn the audio on a couple times. Had a decent day and zero audio, because I didn't realize it until I got home and started reviewing the footage on the computer and was a total 'dummy' moment. Burned me bad so haven't made the mistake since. Oh, the new signature rod came in and man that thing is beautiful. Nicest catfish rod I own, taking it out later today with some frozen skipjack and chicken to see what I can get into.

@@mickaburkhart14 Have you been to Old Hickory or this way on the Cumberland? I'm struggling bad out this way in the hot summer days. Coming up empty multiple trips. One small channel in about 8 hours of fishing and I just can't locate or get lucky with any big blues. Would love to see you on some new bodies of water disecting things with your knowledge. If you don't have the time to travel and fish, a good video series would be you looking at some nautical maps and highlighting locations you'd key in on for big fish. With your knowledge, that would be a solid video series when you're not able to get out on the water and grow your channel. Oh and the signature rod at night under a black light looks freaking SICK! I didn't catch a thing but I could have looked at the rod all night, looks awesome.

@@castandtrail lol thank you for that. I do travel to a few different places to fish but I get a little short with the videos because it's someone else's water that I don't want to give to much away. It's just a respect thing. But there is plenty of of the Cumberland and tn river I haven't fished yet so I can definitely work with that and go into great detail if that would work.

@@mickaburkhart14 Yea I understand and respect not showing off spots of others. I'd love more in depth stuff from you, I think others would as well. You clearly know a lot about catfishing and, just the little bits of you showing the graph a bit is so helpful so personally would love more of that and maybe some more in-depth videos specifically going over things you do when on new bodies of water. I'm a sucker for learning stuff from all types of anglers and trying new stuff so maybe it's just me 😂

@@stonefly7158 I was actually dragging baits behind the boat. Only going .3 to .4 mph. But I can definitely go over my setup. I'll do a rigging room video. So be on the lookout for that. I'll do it soon.

Well Done Micka. Zero flow over here in East TN, think rain. Doing okay within 2 miles of the dams since they are generating, although not much. How fast are you dragging? I seem to be doing better in these no flow conditions at 0.6-0.7

I just drop it straight down till it hits bottom then bring it up a couple turns. Of course adjust with the bottom. Stays roughly a couple feet off the bottom.

I drift on the Tombigbee along bars where it drops into channel, run one side just off bottom toward channel like that and other following the drop at a shallower depth.

If you run an external battery it should help with the camera overheating or atleast it did for me. Gopro black hero7.

@@dboyMMA7100 lol well the hook is set when they hit it but I just drive the hook home. Especially when dragging. It just helps take the angle of the line up quicker.
