My theory back when I first started playing doors was that the game took place in some kind of hell/purgatory since it's made very clear that your character canonically can come back from death each run. Guiding light and El Goblino make this fact pretty clear.

Honestly this is some cool stuff, its great seeing doors finally have clues about its lore however I do wanna coin in my own theory on the next floor(s) During the whole ending cutscene during the hotel, figure jumps off the elevator and into some passageway, which looks sorta like a cave, what I think is notable about this cave is that there's signs of humans or some other entity through the presence of floodlights (which are still powered, may I add), various wooden planks and boxes and what appears to be a gate to the side. There is a definite possibility that this could be a future floor, though maybe not immediately as we are seen falling pretty darn far. However for the next floor, I think its going to be a facility of some sort, having a similar design to room 100 in the hotel, considering the fact that the elevator is supposed to y'know, be an elevator and go somewhere. Note that there is no up or down buttons on the elevator, simply a power-on button. Which means its either a one-way trip or its only supposed to go between 2 locations. I honestly think the latter is more possible. You could make the arguement that Figure somehow messed with the elevator by doing whatever they do during the ending, however there is still a hole for the elevator to go down, and for a long while I must add while going at probably really high speeds. Meaning there's a pretty high chance that the elevator connects to some sort of a facility or a lab, possibly being the origin of the Figure if the whole homunculus thing is really true. To be honest I'm kind of just spit-balling but this is my best attempt at a theory. Besides, going through hell itself sounds like a pretty cool concept.

This is a great theory however something hidden in the last cutscene at door 100 if you zoom out then go up (upwards the elevator) you can actually see seeks eyes looking down as you which means that seek is following us to floor 2 I speculate that seek is actually the final boss because he has shown the most power of all monsters (even outclassing figure) he can legit warp reality (I think because he legit makes the room specific when he appears ) he can make light bulbs fall to create fire and can even summon hands and eyes to his creation

I have a prediction (That might do well in lore but who knows) If I were to follow matpat theory, then I would think if this happened during war right then the buildings definitely have to be old right? And for some of the hotels part to be so... New it would mean that somehow something or someone is stopping time which then caused demon/evil spirits to come out because if you go downwards in level 100 you see a lightning shape portal spreading maybe. (erasing/adding that we are a investigator from matpat theory) Or, Maybe we are in a loop be cause we it is very interesting how we came FROM an LEVEATOR GOING DOWN and we went to BACK into a ELEVATOR in floor 100 (we went far down.) and the guiding light is guiding us towards the elevator and helping us survive through our journey. Also think about the lobby it might have to do a lot with doors and I don't see a lot of people talking about it. Maybe it is cannon or maybe it is in a way.

This is my Theory!❤ (I literally told my friend about my whole theory.) We don’t know A-000. So maybe just maybe, it’s the lab. Now the reason why I call it the lab is because we don’t what it is. We don’t know what the how the monsters were made. So that’s how the lab comes into place, maybe the scientists we’re testing out the monsters. (Like thing or seek.) and they killed all the scientists. One the scientists maybe is the skeleton in the shop. (Aka Jeff shop.) cause we don’t know the skeleton like that cause it’s clearly died💀 But I just think it’s the scientist. When we beat the game, the elevator starts cashing down. Maybe that’s where A-000 is. And that’s how they tested out the monsters. The monsters were clearly gone crazy causing kill everyone and everything. If we're getting scared just by some pixels on the screen, imagine what hell is like. To put it into perspective hell is worse than the backrooms. hell is like you know something bad is about to happen to you so you will have constant stress.

Okay, I watched whole video and the 8 floor thing confuses me, and you said doors is a barrier to hell haunted with "evil" spirits. (if I were to add in my opinion they are either full with rage or trying to escape from hell) then why does it take so long to fall.. Cause it would take 3 seconds to fall 10 floors. In my opinion I feel like there is infinitely amount of floors due to looping for some odd reason that might be due to game theory (guiding light) and that the more you go down the more sinister it gets and by sinister I mean old. and as you can see, we fall far down, and I mean FAR, I calculate either 500 - 1000 meters. I think it is totally possible due to infinite floors. I know this has a lot of flaws cause it is a theory lol. and also you got to remember that when we went downwards in the elevator, there was a cave system, and figure hopped off, meaning he does have a high amount of intelligence but why would he avoid (not adding death) the bottom of the elevator.

Yeah there's other higher places where it's so high you can float like mount everest or burger khalifa skyscraper also this place is anomalous like a SCP or the backrooms so there isn't that much explaination needed for it to be high

What is Glitch? Is Glitch just a manifestation of Guiding Light when she fails to create a new room?
