Sabine is Viper’s Name Omen only Mentions the Name Sabine when Allied with Viper. And when you play as viper and there is another viper in the enemy team, your viper will mention the name “sabine” towards the enemy viper

For those who weren't paying attention in the tutorial, we plant and defuse bombs for the sake of Radianite. The defenders try to defend their Radianite while the attackers try to steal the Radianite. Maybe spikes aren't actually bombs, maybe the the energy that it gives off when it explodes is just too much for a Radiant to handle, let alone a human. The explosion might be an EMP of some sorts that momentarily disables the Radianite's energy, making it easier to well, steal.
I honestly thought that the spike was a method of teleporting the radianite to your home base, so defenders try to defend thier radianite while attackers try to steal it

Sabine is actually Viper’s real name. I learned this from playing viper, as one of her voicelines when fighting her copy is, “Sabine, Sabine”. Alongside this, Cipher refers to Viper as Sabine, in which she says, “Don’t call me that ever again. If you do though, it’s doctor Sabine, get it right. Finally, Viper used to be a doctor, when one of her experiments went wrong and she ended up as... Viper.
Actually.. Viper and Omen have a back story, they had been working together and Omen was part of the experiment which turned out to be a disaster..due to which we see him as the "Omen" form. In one of the in-game interactions you can here Viper say.."Fred.. I mean Omen.."
@@zarkkazi1990 viper, omen, and sage, at leasy from what I've heard. So when omen's experiment went to disaster, he died and viper asked sage to revive him. For some reason she failed to fully revive him and accidentally made him as what we see him now

the spike isnt a bomb proof: when is detonates nothing breaks, it just does a big black sphere, theory: the spike is too destroy radianite and only radianite
The attackers are against Kingdom and the defenders are a part of Kingdom. The attackers plant the spike to stop the radianite and if anyone gets too close when it detonates, they die. This could mean that all of the agents have some sort of radianite in them, explaining how they die. So the point of planting the spike is to end the Kingdom's plans of manipulating radianite.
In the Duelists Video by Valorant,when spike was detonated the ground floated up in the sky,So maybe Spike has a reaction with radianite that makes the ground float the moment spike destroys radianite

If Killjoy defuses the spike, she says something like "you dont deserve my inventions". So maybe Killjoy helped inventing the Spike, because her Laptop in the trailer got the Kingdom Logo on it too.

But that doesn't explain why raze kill joy or any other non radianite agent dies...... Maybe that cleansing process kills because if you notice when spike explode off you'll notice some blackish textures on the maps
Sage often says “we are valorant, we are fighters” in the beggining of rounds. Thats an obvius clue for me that every character here is the member of Valorant, the best terrorist team.
I think it is safe to say that just because they are the attackers doesn't mean they are the terrorists. We only assume that they are because the game has a similar gameplay concept to CS:GO
@@atomicfission4826 We already know that the attackers are from earth 67, a "copy" of the world. There are most likely more copies of it, but a copied world also causes copied people a.k.a. doublegangers. That's why the agents have voice lines to their own self when there are two of them in different teams

The theory of Phoenix being immortal has more evidence, one of his voicelines is "Ugh, I feel like I've been doing this forever! Any of you feel the same? No? Just me? Okay." Sage also says: "I will quench your eternal flame Phoenix"
I would like to imagine he is immortal, but doesn't remember much when he wakes up. So he is that stupid guy that is being used by the evil ones and thinks he is a hero, and only finds out about it when it is too late.

I don’t think we will know exactly what this is before riot tells us, cause I don’t it’s ice or normal crystals. Water can’t heal people or bring them back to life, but it seems like Radionite can. So maybe she is the light solid version of Omens dark gas
I believe in the tutorial, Brimstone mentioned that the Spike is what they use to capture their enemies Radianite. Since Brimstone is an employee of Kingdom, this would mean that Kindom built the Spike to steal Radianite, but build a defuser in case someone tried using it against themselves.

his name is not Fred, Sabine and Omen were both doing experiments together, when something probably happened and Omen died, I do not think Viper died since she still has a body and is considered to be a "Radianite technology user" rather than a "Radian". Omen is a Radian because after he dies, Sage revived him and got his soul trapped into a a robotic body. Anyway, one line of Viper's is "Ja.., I mean, Omen...", which means that Omen's name is not Fred

More about Cypher: In one of Cypher's voice lines, Cypher states that they must succeed because he does not want to bear the pain of seeing his family die *again.* Cypher's current 'family' is likely the team of agents we know, as Raze also refers to her team as 'mi familia.' This tells us that Cypher's biological family is dead. (Note: Cypher's [family] voice line came out in patch 0.5, I'm pretty sure.)
Hey Necrit, I really hope this reaches you. Viper has a voice line on Bind where she says "The lies we've told this city just to pry it open and suck it dry". This voice line suggests that Viper was involved with kingdom taking over the city at Bind.
In cypher’s story, I think he lost his family or his children maybe, and has a wife he has to protect. In one of his lines he talks about a person named “Nora”
Sage is more like a water user, so maybe she just have some "holly" water that can heal people, and revive them. And wall and ground freezing is just her manipulating water.

I feel like her orbs are radianite bc omen calls her the radianite healer and she uses the orbs for everything she does. Also the slows and walls are a weird substance that doesn’t fit anything that we know irl
Its more widely speculated that radianite is more some form of energy, than material. The black holes like the spike, the stuff on bind and ult points seem to be black holes that are supposed to store radianite. They may or may not have something to do with causing havoc too tho, but that makes it pretty clear that you are rather extracting the energy "safely", than destroying something like in csgo
I have a theory about the reason we're bombing those places as players. It could also explain why the same characters appear on both sides. It could be that the whole game is a What-If scenario just like League of Legends. But instead of what would be if the champions meet on the battlefield, this time it's what would be if Valorant worked against or with the Kingdom Cooperation. So if the Agents decided that the Kingdom Cooperation is bad, they would turn their backs on them and try to damage the Cooperation with their own bombs the agents stole. On the other hand if the Agents decided that the Kingdom Cooperation is actually doing good things they would try to prevent terror attacks given tools to defuse a stole bomb by the Kingdom Cooperation themself. The game is just both of those versions crashing.
Or like with other hero shooters and LoL the objective and individual characters do not matter to each other as a general rule. Gameplay and story are connected, but not one to one.

Theres this one line that Jett says: " I would make fun of their dumb faces, but they're us. ". This could either be an interesting lore piece, perhaps Kingdom is using Radianite to make clones of the valorant agents. Or maybe this could only be a 4th wall break.
When you mentioned the floating island it might be the new map Ascent. Also an interesting thing I found is that the layout of the spike plant training is identical to B site in Ascent. That might just be a tease they put in the beta or showing that the agents are training to blow Ascent up. Update: I found a banner of Radiant Island without the text by mid in Ascent as well as a huge Kingdom building with radianite crates on display. There is also a radianite springs banner a a building blown up by a spike and frozen in time.
My theory is, that the Radiants were created "naturally" because of the influence of Radianite on their Body (like Phoenix and Jett) and I think that Omen is Kingdom's experiment on creating a Radiant themseslves.

Yeah. Sova was first supposed to be a female as leaked that his name would be Andressa. You can see in his concept how his lips were 'more full' and he looks slightly feminine. Fun fact Raze was also supposed to be male and her name would be Douglas.
In a promotional video of the game, the flames seems to exit in the interior of the jacket in fact. And when he return to life using his ability he touches the jacket.

My take on Valorant Lore: - Earth will become RUNETERRA once the Radianite has finished terraforming earth. - Valorant is a group that is link to an ideal. That Ideal can become a Region. - Radiante effect gives god-like powers, hence the creation of a religion around it. - The Training ground that floats is actually Venice that blew out. Maybe it's because it's one of the first places hit when First Light came. - Sabine is the name of Viper before she became Viper. She's responsible for the creating/handling/supervising experience on Weaponizing Radianite. The Experiment instead created Omen. - Radianite seems to influence and alter the psyche of people. And like the "Force" in Star Wars, it becomes part of you. - The Spike is a Radianite Black Hole emitter. The goal is to absorb the Radianite and condense it into a solid matter than can be transported. That could explain why every Agent dies if it touches the explosion. - Instead of being able to bend earth to her will, Sage might be adept of an Essence (aether)form of Pure Radianite. Maybe that's why she can Revive people. - Phoenix might be a Crown's Barista, that was drafted because he was Radianite-Sensitive. - The reason we see scuttles is because it may be a newly species that evolved due to Radianite.
There's one thing though, in the trailer with Pheonix vs Jett, we see that Venezia starts floating after Jett uses something like or similar to the spike, as Pheonix was clearly surprised when he saw Venezia floating, and it can't be one of the first places to be hit by the first light as everyone already had powers

Im actually thinking if the agents have clones, and the one side is against kingdom but still uses kingdom tech (because some kingdom workers are rebelling) and the other side are defending Kingdom. Explains some voicelines by Jett about herself? Or smthn when she killed an enemy jett.
most of the Agents have the voicelines for fighting with themselves. Jett uses a "Clone killed" when killing an enemy jett or "I would make fun of their dumb faces, but they're us! We look stupid"
@@MisterMsky yes those voicelines. I rly think there's something behind those voice lines lore wise. Though maybe it can be considered as jokes because of the game's agent picking format, were mirror match can occur.

Something I don't get about Raze is how useless her abilities are to the team, with zero utilities so she would seem useless but then her ultimate is downright overpowered. It's a bit confusing.
Some developer accidentally leaked a valorant poster that said "Episode 1: Rise of Venice" and they have confirmed that the new map coming out is from the venice clip. And the islands look like venice, so is the "rise" of venice literally the islands rising in the air?
in the tutorial, you hear that the spike is "a device that the enemy uses to STEAL our radianite" that is why I believe that there may be rival clans that are working to steal radianite from eachother, or all working together to try and steal it from the kingdom, and you are trying to stop that as the defenders. it would also explain why you are training to be a defender on the floating island that was supposedly made by the kingdom.
Viper has a lot of interactions of her losing her home and wanting to get revenge : "I won´t lose my home again!" or even Brimstone says something like : "Viper, you want revenge, you can get it now" or something along those lines. Just a piece of my own lore-finding stuff :D

@@Necrit That would work, but when she casts spells, doesn't it look more like a bubble of water than it does liquid crystals? Her wall melts (which would be seen as water) Her grenade SLOWS people, and makes them slide a little (I've never seen crystals able to do that) Her heal and Ressurection casts look more like fluid motions and have water-ish particles. (If they wanted her to be like earth, they would've made her cast something like a shield/hardening skin with crystals, rather than heal. Water just makes more sense with her powers) I know it is a game, so physics don't have to be real nor make sense, but if you actually think about it, her powers are more like water than they are earth. (and also, crystal bending is different from earth bending so it would still not be earth)
