"best assassin in the series since Edward Kenway" THIS GUY KNOWWWWWSSS LFFGGGG Bayek, Edward and Ezio are the 3 best in the entire series. so fucking thankful for this game ngl, what an experience to be had! the game is already a fav, and this video just makes me love it even more! keep it up!
Origins is overall probably my favorite game in the series. That said, imo Hidden Ones DLC is just okay. it feels extremely similar to the base game and the Sinai is somewhat unexciting as a location. The biggest strength of the DLC is the story and Bayek's arc. I like Curse of the Pharaohs a lot more for gameplay reasons. Even though the story in that DLC makes little sense, Thebes and the Valley of the Kings were exciting locations to me, that a game set in Egypt is not complete without featuring. Not to mention the Afterlife areas, which were fascinating to experience...
I can agree about Origins that is one of the best in all franchise. Maybe because it is the first Ac game I played. About the Hidden Ones dlc yeah its good. One of my favorite was Unity: Dead Kings. By the way, well done your channel is huge right now 👏 👍
The Hidden Ones dlc was the best dlc. The only bad thing was it was too short. Who else thought Rufio was such a good villain even in the 5 mins we see of him?
So I was only able to afford the the base game when it came out when I played it in 2018. Sometime along the way I bought Ubisoft+ for a month and now I have all the DLC for this game. I installed the game last week and still have it.
I've played pretty much all the DLCs in the series and I'd say this is my overall favorite DLC. Played it after Curse of the Pharaohs. Also I love Bayek's Hidden One's outfit. My favorite DLCs are probably Battle of Forli, The Da Vinci Disappearance, Dead Kings, Curse of the Pharaohs, The Hidden Ones, and The Fate of Atlantis.
Lorewise it is a pretty good dlc, furthering the establishment of the Hidden Ones. But the gameplay is very much similar to the base game, you do more of what you already did, in the same looking locations. That made the dlc a bit boring. Also a problem here appears in New Game +, the bosses have no increase in their difficulty, instead of the proper bossfight, I one-hit killed Gamilat. Which was very anticlimactic. A sidequest to mention though is where Taharqa's son tracks you down and tries to kill you. That was an interesting one, a repercussion for assassinating someone.
Excellent video. You're exactly summarising what I wanted in a sequel, and it's a shame. When such amazing side content is developed, Ubisoft NEVER develops this. Like Jack the Ripper DLC or or the Dead Kings DLC. I wish they would return to Bayek in the future. If you're using Kassandra why not Bayek?
I’m of the opinion The fate of Atlantis was the best. We got 3 massive new sandboxes to explore, 3 sub stories all combining into one massive over arching story about the fall of the Isu, we got some insane boss battles, a big plot twist right at the end, some insane abilities and a general expansion to Odyssey’s mythological based gameplay, with an impressive amount of story choices you can make. Each world felt unique and special, we got to meet and redeem many different characters we knew before hand. Just generally, it was an amazing DLC which does make me want to play through Odyssey again, even if the length of that game can make it a massive chore (tho, I did like its arcadey combat… honestly, I might just give it another play through)
Dlc was kinda lacking the gameplay was pretty much the same as the base game it would be cool to add the recruit system from brotherhood the only good thing about the dlc that it add alot to the lore
Hidden Ones is fantastic and the best story wise. But to me it peaks really quickly at the first fort. As a complete package I think Dead Kings is still the best expansion in the series
ac origins gold edition! is this in the gold edition version of the game?? i dont want to miss this(i played it before, but it wasnt mine but still a great part of the game) I bought the gold edition and it has the season pass and i dont really 100% understand what it is? some say all content like the hidden onces and other expansions and others say i need to buy it to get it also?? on ubisoft when i look it only say i got season pass(gold edition is base game+season pass)BUt how is it 100% sure if any of u knows this?? its cheap, but i dont want to buy if i already got it and ubisoft is sometiomes a bit wierd(I have fc5 and some content i have still wont show up on ubisoft even though i play that content so why is this?? Steam shows everything i bought!!) Thanks
100% Loved the story and seeing more of the foundation of the creed, and that ending... chief kisses. WHERE IS OUR ORIGINS SEQUEL UBISOFT? OUR BOY BAYEK DESERVES IT
When i first played the dlc i thought the game has just now started , it's still the best and should've been the main story itself rather than being a dlc .
