I still think that NFS 2015 is underrated. It looked really good back at the time while also worked perfectly fine on PS4 Pro. Don’t get me wrong, I love HP2, U2, MW, Carbon and PS, but this game is the best for me. Kudos to the dev team, I felt as it’s 2004 again.
Felt the same with Unbound especially since I fell off with HP2010 back in the day. Got a decent gaming rig late into Payback's lifecycle... gacha mechanics for upgrades instead of normal part purchasing... nope not touching that, NFS is dead, thanks EA. Then the Steam free trial weekend on Unbound got the better of me... now I'm in an NFS addiction phase again. Has 100+ hours in Unbound, bought and loved Heat. Still not touching Payback... but 2015... many say great stuff, many hate it... just gotta see it myself soon, the missing Underground in my collection. Besides the official 1&2 my brain works like this: 2015 = Underground 3 - Rebootio Drift Unbound = Underground 4 - On Spider-verse Tides.
Most immersive NFS ever. It's amazing how it captured the cold, rainy urban feel, how it pretends that it's a film about actual outlaws engaging in street racing activities and how it tries to make everything as photorealistic as possible.
I say this in every nfs 2015 related content and I am gonna say it here too, this game was the best nfs game of the decade I don't care about anyone's opinion I don't care if the game had bad physics, I don't care if this game had a cheesy story, Idc if this game lacked fun police chases, this game captured a vibe which no nfs game did it was like the old school underground era of nfs was back and thriving it's was just like blackpanthaa said in one of his vids this game was fan service and we should be happy that we got this game if we didn't then idk what could've happened with this franchise it was the success of this game that we still have nfs in our hands and we should all respect it for that.
