Maybe if the High Lords had bought the Performance Package 5.0 Ultra, then they all wouldn't have been murdered in the beheading. I'm not sure how but its possible : manscaped.com/majorkill After picking up your male grooming essentials for 20% off, why not check out the Majorkill Merch : www.majorkill.shop/ Or the Patreon : www.patreon.com/majorkill
Perhaps if they were SO well groomed that before they had their dicks punched off the space marines had to stop and say “hey those dicks are pretty nice, maybe let’s just let em live on a backwater planet somewhere” …the end. You’re welcome.
Hello Majorkill, Thank you for doing the High Lords of Terra. It means the world to me. Would you kindly make some lore videos on the Imperial Truth, the Imperial Creed, the Ecclesiarchy? Pretty please? Thank you.
I know the high lords of Terra are supposed to be scary and powerful people, but every time I see a picture of them I can only think of their counterparts from TTS.
I would sooner mourn the billions of spent ammunition. A single bolt fired by an astartes will always be more effective than a single human. - Horus probably
Wrong point, point was that some mortal who never saw any battles is gonna hold the power, i don't think they wpuld be mad if some guardsmen veterans got some place along side some astartes as rulers, i understand army frusttation when some far away from front line politician is caling the shots.
Like another has said, I don't think the Primarchs or Astartes would have cared if the senior government posts were occupied by *actual* soldiers who had served at the front. Someone who has actually bled for the Imperium they were governing. The problem is it was typically rich fops who only bleed for the Imperium when they get a paper cut. The wealthy and privileged. I support their view in that regard. We see it all to often in the real world how politicians are allowed to make decisions about things they have neither the experience nor the knowledge to decide on. The wealthy and powerful typically get away with anything. No accountability and responsibility is a guideline. The very antithesis to what the Imperium was supposed to be. And yet the Emperor was giving it to those to whom it should not have been given. For the Astartes, they were children and young adults when they were made into trans-human warriors. Their minds are still to some respect that. So the base line "Might makes right" and what is wrong should be made right immediately not allowed to stand is still in their minds. The Primarchs themselves were shaped and crafted to defend humanity... well how better to defend it than by being the one who gets to make the decisions?
The fact that High Lords were literally considering killing Guiliman (Which would in result in death of the Imperium and by extension death of the High Lords) is one of the very few instances in the lore that is just as stupid as it's believable
The high lords were anything but effective leaders. And thank the Emperor the million worlds of the Imperium were allowed to govern itself and the resources were *mostly* processed by the lower bureaucrats instead of the high lords, 2 things that allowed the other organizations to work things on their own
i mean thats just the last century of the western roman empire so many man who tried to safe the empire where killed by other aristocrats (looking at you ricimer)
In TTS, Magnus the Red and Captain-General Little Kitten once tried to wipe out the High Lords and take over the government of the Imperium in attempt to reform it. Except Ecclesiarch Decius wasn't around and the High Lords that got wiped out were alien infiltrators with the real ones stuck behind the closet.
@@patrykwitczak719Text to speech. There's a parody show on RU-vid called "If the Emperor had a text to speech device." It's extremely popular among 40k fans.
There were rumors (idk how true) that henry cavill would star in a wh40k series and this is what i would like them to be: political drama with a little bit of horror and mystery (chaos and GS cults) instead of focusing on space marines and intergalatic warfare.
We can only assume that the identities of the High Lords are not publically known, otherwise a Grey Knight would never be able to serve as one without anyone else knowing he's a Grey Knight.
The identities of more public sits were known but Inquisition try to keep the names in limited circulation through that sit rotate much more frequent than others so it is not a problem. Also, Grey Knights existence is an open secret to the High Lords.
Publicly available and widely known are two vastly different scales. I couldn't tell you who the American Secretary of Transportation or Agriculture are, but its not because it's being hidden from me.
I do love the idea that the Imperium is the Skaven instead of the tyranids given the high lords have 12 members with the emperor as the stand in for the Great Horned Rat like the Council of Thirteen
Unbelievebly corrupt but also unbelievebly religious? Check. Main army units are treated like their lives are less valuable than their bullets? Check. Horrific punishments worse than death? Check. Short-sighted goal such as "expansion"? Check Yep, the Imperium are just space Skaven.
The Emperor isn't directly a part of the council tho. They answer to the Emperor as he is higher than the council. Its like the Elder Council from the Elder Scrolls
My favorite thing about 40k is that no one can count. - They destroyed a hiveworld with 20 hive cities of 5 billion each, that's like 2 million dead. - There are 20 primarchs, except there's 18, except one of them is 2 people so 19. - There are 4 chaos gods and Vashtoor is attempting to become the 6th. - There are 9 high lords in the High 12.
Other than Khorne, Nurgle, Slaanesh, and Tzeentch there are four other named chaos gods plus two unnamed ones that have been mentioned in 40k lore. Malal is the god of anarchy and terror, also known as Malice. It is the greatest of the 'other' chaos gods.
The "good" Big E who consumes in horrible, torturous way few thousands innocent psykers per day for some 10 thousands years which by even the very err...laxing rules of this franchise should have created chaos bipping god or something.
2 Video ideas: 1. Black Rage explained. 2. The best Iron hands moments/why the Iron hands are underrated (I ordered a "The Flesh Is Weak" shirt. Can't wait to wear it!)
Really goes to show how incompetent the previous High Lords were when they thought getting ONE badass Space Marine chapter would be enough to stage a full-on coup on the Primarch known for being calculated and logistical
@darthrevan1281 Right, but we're still talking about logistics here One Space Marine chapter after the Gene Father of the most by-the-books Space Marines ever And (at the time) the only loyalist Primarch to return The idea that the High Lords thought Minotaurs would be enough to overthrow that shows how dumb/desperate they were to hold onto power
@darthrevan1281I always hated that they made such a dope chapter the high lords lackeys, like the chapter master would have to be a complete idiot to think he knows better than a primarch
It's very dumb actually, as Rowboat Girlyman would at the very least have all the guard and navy forces from the realm of Ultramar, 50+ UM successor chapters that would probably be readily available (I say 50 as over well over 100 second founding successor chapters were UM stock and that number went up in subsequent foundings since a lot of independent chapters are raised using Ultramarine gene-seed, But A primarch such as Gorilla could count of most of the second founding UM as they came directly from the Ultramines as they existed as a Legion ), support from mars etc etc etc. there is no way the Minotaurs alone would have been enough.@darthrevan1281
Attempt number 10: What if the Primarchs where found in the order of their creation. So the Lion was first and Horus was nearly last. I think that could change quite a bit, don't you think? P:S yeah, I'm definitely doing this till it gets to a 100. 1 10th of the way there. JOIN ME MY BROTHERS!!
This would just be literal hypothetical speculation. It's not like there's anything except for his personal, individual headcanon/guessing to go off of...
i want to take a second to say thank to you for so far not using any AI bullshit art in your videos, and even going out of your way to commission an extremely talented artist for some videos. so many WH youtubers and lore guys have started using AI images in their videos and as a brand that was literally built on the talent of artist and writers it feels like such a slap in the face as an artist myself. you are very much appreciated bro and i appreciate you not taking the easy road for that sort of stuff and im sure Alex feels the same. great video, also i would love to see a video on your ABSOLUTE favorite character in all of 40k. who ever that may be
The sheer amount of AI "art" being spammed all around the internet is very frustrating. I do not understand what some people see in those or how some enjoy the absolute samey spam. Annoying to search for the good stuff already with what's out there and this is just going to get worse.
I like to think majorkills most darkest secret is that he's the only 5'11 custodies and thats why he was sent back in time to show us the future as a clandestine warning.
Nah he has sponsors now, It would be a good business decision to bring him back. Jokes like that work for smaller channels, not when they have a wider audience.
Is Lord Solar Leontus a High Lord? I can't remember, also Gulliman in the art looks like he wants to shrink down into the Armor of Fate so he doesn't have to be there which fair enough. Day 351 of requesting a Commissar Yarrick Major Mini pls and thank you.
The funny thing about the Abbess Sanctorum (Morvenn Vahl) is that she ALSO can't be fucked to deal with Terran politics, preferring to fight in battles over actually showing up to their meetings.
I think it would be funny if the spirit of Ferrus Manus one hand neck snaps Vashtorr and is reformed by The Lock and becoming The Weapon. In his new form, the reborn Gorgon takes his legion and crusades against the Emperor's Children and duels Fulgrim at full power.
[The legions turned on the Imperium because the Emperor wanted ordinary humans to govern themselves.] This is a very Milton-inspired turn of events as the reason Lucifer turns on Yahweh is because the seperior and aviternal angels were expected to serve mortal humans.
Hello Majorkill, Thank you for doing the High Lords of Terra. It means the world to me. Would you kindly make some lore videos on the Imperial Truth, the Imperial Creed, the Ecclesiarchy? Pretty please? Thank you.
Hmm, is Solar Leontus not a high lord of Terra? I thought he was but Majorkill didn't list him and he seems a significant enough character to be mentioned if he was.
Well he would have to get Erebus as well. Since Lorgar did objectively very little for the traitor cause. It was Erebus who executed the corrupt Horus op and spread corruption through the warrior lodges scheme.
then Erebus and Kor'Phaeron won't have a primarch to manipulate > no First Heretic > Interex won't get nuked and no Heresy > Great Crusade would complete as usual and acquire greater technology however it would add to Horus' paranoia as he fears the primarchs and the astartes will be wiped out like the thunder warriors before him and his 2nd/11th brothers, possibly painting Horus as Erebus alternative target
@@thecommentguy9380 wasn't Horus one of Erebus' targets in the first place? He poisoned Horus and he masquerade as one of the Luna Wolves in the Warp to trick Horus to swore his allegiance to Chaos.
Man Malcador truly was the ultimate bro, never betrayed the Emperor and Imperium despite being given immense ammounts of power, holding the Golden Throne while the Big E fought Horus and doing the ultimate sacrifice, one if not the gigachad of the Imperium
Ar-bit-eez, not Ar-bites. It’s pretend Latin. Same principle as Ah-start-eez, not Ah-starts. The Ar-bit part is as in the English word “Arbitrate”. The Arbites are arbitrators. Some people pronounce it Ar-BITE-eez instead of Ar-BIT-eez, and I think either is fine, though I prefer to pronounce the BIT as in ArBITrate. But Ar-bites is definitely wrong.
So basically the Imperium had the same problem as the Orks most of the time. They COULD pretty much own the Galaxy... IF their various factions and their leaders wouldn't be so busy fighting each other for personal power all the time. Gotta love it when a powerful faction's worst enemy and biggest obstacle is itself.
“High Lords of Terra, we are gather here today to discuss the most pressing matter to the Survival of the Imperium of Man, such as we have never seen before. Should we outlaw the use of laxatives to everyone but US? Because my poo has been really hard and dusty lately.” -casual High Lords meeting in the 41st millennium.
I want to believe that Lord Solar Leontus is a High Lord, as that's how he acquired his Supreme Commander rank, but I can't say I am certain, so no biggie.
I feel like if guilliman was on the counsel with high esteem Horus and the other primarchs wouldn't have been *as* upset with the voice of them among the politicians. But that's just a theory a majorkill fan theory. So it's r etåřded but cool
Leave it to the leader of the assassins to screw things up, both in bad and good ways. One becomes a tyrannical crazy guy who forces his friend to come and kill him and fight through like a thousand exosor assassins, and the other actually decides Guilliman ain't that bad and kill the other lords just to see if the G-man can actually make things efficient again.
This is the main reason why I don't think big E was correct in believing that if mankind was just left alone and so on, no Chaos or Xenos to interfere, the High Lords of Terra and various other nobles would still find a way to fuck up mankind at large. Sure, the Primarchs and other superior beings are still flawed creature but Roboute certainly turned around the Imperium from total collapse since his return. Yes, doing so by wrangling power away from the top brass but he's shown to be tailored for managerial tasks.
The Beheading and aftermath sounds like it'd be wicked fun to read about. Only in warhammer, yeah all this is run by a genhanced ultra elite murder machine... alright Dope obscure informational vid! Appreciate the logistical lore!
Do us a favor and PLEASE do some vids that cover ALL THE CLAN HOUSES OF NECROMUNDA......PEOPLE FORGET HOW SICK THAT DISGUSTING HIVE WORLD OF SCUM AND VILLANY ACTUALLY IS!! 😂😂
The existence of the High Lords of Terra angers Horus who sees them as a bunch of pathetic bureaucrats that didn't earn their place and sucks at their job which he is quite right after their track record over 10,000 years.
What do you mean? Did the Imperium not survive for 10k years? Fighting with no Primarchs against chaos who had everyone besides Horus? My guy look at the numbers 1st.
Fun fact regarding the title High Lord of Terra, there are some authors referred to as High Lords of Terra, these authors are Dan Abnett, Aaron Dembski-Bowden, Graham McNeill, James Swallow, Gav Thorpe, and Chris Wraight
OK by old cannon.. There are 1,000 chapters of Space Marines each chapter typically has 10 , 100 man chapters of 1000 Marines ,making for about 1 million Marines throughout the imperium. the Imperium has about 1 million planets. Each planet has it's own Imperial Guard army. Each Regiment is led by a Colonel. The Lexiconum tells us that there are "millions of Regiments" or "countless Regiments"... each led by a Colonel. Have you ever compared the stat line of a IG Colonel to a Space Marine? There is no comparison. A Typical Colonel is MUCH better than a space marine... and there are more of them throughout the Imperium. Imagine drafting 100 Colonels from your little corner of the Imperium. putting them in Terminator armor and five um Conversion fields and they would be damn near unstoppable.
High lords of terra one"high lords of Terra...we are gathered here today to decide and decuss the survival of the imperium of mankind....so....should we once again ban the outlaws of laxities to everyone but us... because once again my poo is getting more harder and dustier lately" me".....really....this again my lords.....errrrrr"
The fact that the Minotaur chapter of Space Marines were so loyal to the High Lords that they were willing to go to war against a fucking Primarch is so dumb lmao. Like, it really made me dislike the Minotaurs actually. I know they're supposed to be stronger than most other chapters, but it would have been cool to see Guilliman spank their Chapter Master and remind him who he's supposed to serve.
Chancellor of the estate imperium is in charge of record keeping. Basically lord of all accounting in the imperium so yes probably boring as shit. 😅 but important.
Can you do a video discussing the primarch’s fighting styles in detail? I believe there are videos in discussion of fights that happened in WH40k that go in depth of them and some of them are primarch fights but even though they do discuss their fighting styles I would like your description of them overall because I find your content quite entertaining
