Hey friends! The Retro(Active) horror club has come back to life this March just in time for women's history month!! 💚⚡
This month, we are reading Mary Shelley's Frankenstein and watching the Universal Monster film adaptations. (You would be surprised to know just how many there are!) Also, I plan on reading non-fiction books about the film and Mary Shelley's life, as well as the many Frankenstein retellings that exist!

Caught on replay, this was amazing!! The last time I read Frankenstein was in high school... and I've never watched any of the movies! Definitely curious now!

I think you would really like Universal Monster Frankenstein movies but I know you love trashy lit, so you might enjoy the Hammer Frankenstein movies. I watched Lady Frankenstein last night and it was so ridiculous but also awesome 🤣 Also, any word on your coming back to RU-vid??? I MISS YOU!!!!!!

@happyhauntslibrary I've yet to watch Curse of Chucky and Cult of Chucky. All the other ones I watched so many times as a kid/teen 🤣 and definitely a big gateway into horror for me 🖤
