The History of a Fated Mystery | Museum preserves an aviation pioneer 

The Midwest’s newest aviation museum is dedicated to the early life, career, and mysterious disappearance of a legendary aviatrix. The Amelia Earhart Hangar Museum opened in spring of 2023 in Atchison, Kansas, which is the birthplace of the famed pilot. Inside, you’ll find one of the last remaining Lockheed Electra 10-Es, an aircraft identical to the one Earhart flew on her final flight.
