Thanks for addressing the problematic hetero-centric binary and fertility issues. I have many LGBT, trans and non-binary friends who really feel shut out of Wicca because of those.

@@sinjaja5836 I'm not left out, my friends often are, though it's gotten better since the '90s. I'm a Wiccan who's helping evolve the religion to move beyond. :)

@@AR-mu4zq Wicca and Paganism are more accepting now. But it wasn't always that way, and many prejudices still linger. I've been Pagan since the early '80s, Wiccan since '88. Happily, Pagans and Wiccans continue to evolve. But in the '80s and '90s, there was a lot of prejudice out there. It was particularly noticeable at large Pagan festivals.

@@AR-mu4zq Wicca, specifically, is still working its way out of certain Victorian-era habits. Many symbols and rituals have not yet moved out of the idea that "male" and "female" were the only 2 genders. It's complicated.
