【Self introduction】
My name is Masa!! I’m 25 years old. I’m a Japanese. I love Sushi, NARUTO, watching movie, eating foods etc…
I love Sushi so much, so I think I want to eat Sushi everyday!!
But, it’s difficult for me to go Sushi restaurants everyday..
So I came up with a good idea!! If I can make Sushi at home, I can eat Sushi everyday!!
That’s why I begun to make Sushi at home😊

Sushi is air. Sushi is water. Sushi may not be blood or acid that sits inside my body, but sushi will be blood and acid that sits inside my body… I love sushi.. A poem by -a fish

Somebody please inform me how such an impatient people somehow got the reputation for being patient?
@Sushi_Masa_Home_JP
@Sushi_Masa_Home_JP 3 месяца назад
Thanks for your comment!! I think the reputation for being patient comes from the Samurai, Bushidou!! The samurai held real power in Japan for many years. That's why there may be an image of Japanese people being patient. However, nigiri sushi was born towards the end of the Edo period, when the era of the samurai was coming to an end. By that time, people's personalities may have changed😅

i dont think not wanting to wait for few hours again to eat something is not being impatient. its just not practical for business because generally ppl are getting hungry again after 6-7 hours since last meal eaten. back then in old days many things are not as efficient as like now because they are just starting to learn how do things

Thanks for your comment. I see.. you have a point! My image of people in the past being impatient comes from the word "Edokko," which refers to people born and raised in the Edo period. It's true that cooking was less efficient than it is now, so I think that's why Nigiri Sushi, which can be eaten quickly and easily, became popular.

I recall seeing paintings in the Edo Period when sushi became 'fast food' at the markets and docks. There was so much congestion and sinful people walking while eating...oh, the heresy! I actually think that's where the polite rule of not eating while walking was created.
