What an amazing video. It’s a local history lesson as well as the band. Great to see that John Foster’s legacy is continuing with the businesses now running in that wonderful building. Many thanks to the makers of this little programme.
Somewhere in the BBC's archive is ( hopefully) an episode of a short lived series from about 1972 called Where There's Brass( presented by Brian Matthew). The episode features Black Dyke and Jim Shepherd playing a solo called Ragamuffin. It includes shots of the mill where some of the band members were actually working.
