Will you do chad next?. There's a few source on that I have come across. Like some of the areas laballed Nilo-Saharans was under Sara states tho they are more associated with Chad than Central African republic.

Looking through my source page the entry for 1917 has a source and page number justifying Bangassou's annexation. Specifically it was "suppressed by the French colonial government" (Bradshaw, 2016, chronology V), which I interpret as a loss of independence, even if the kingdom continued on as a ceremonial title
