My thoughts exactly, that's why I chose that Death Trooper for some stills in this video! I don't think she's that particular trooper, but I absolutely feel like she was involved in the early process.
When crosshair got injured i got cobra commander vib from the rise of cobra movie when crosshair is wearing that mask that was keeping him breathing lol but with the bandages I can see the spongebob vibs as well 😅
Great video man! I imagine they may be some republic fighters or rebels like saw, minus fighting against the empire. I guess this because of the elite in their name, probably would want someone that can fight if you want the warmantel project to go through. Like bravo from jedi survivor fought for the republic, but he also wasn’t picked but probably because he immediately hated the empire like saw. Love how ES:1 had a moral compass. Love good imps. And I wish we saw more of the elite squad in the bad batch’s old room or talking to clones and not just standing next to them. ES:4 getting bodied was mad funny. Seeing the elite squad on ryloth was epic. Like I said, wish they talked to clones but they just look extra epic here for some reason. Also love Howzer. Also you saying Howzer would be replacing Crosshair, I imagined him rocking up with the black armor, green visor and black shoulder pauldron and that would go so hard man. Love how Crosshair also gave them a chance to live if they just put their guns down.
Thanks so much dude! Yeah, given that they have no training prior to the mission (that we know), I'd guess they were Republic fighters as well given their skill. Great connection to Bravo as well! I agree, even though he was anti-Clone, when it came to the lives of innocents, he couldn't accept that. It would have been really nice to actually see interactions, besides just them giving orders or what have you. Yes! Incredible moment. Wrecker's "Direct hit, YEAH!" gets me every time! Absolutely! Seeing them in an environment that wasn't Kamino and wasn't a hunting mission was awesome. Oh my goodness Howzer in the ES fit would be so unbelievable hard! And yeah, Crosshair definitely anticipated them to disobey his order, but I really do wonder if they did lower their weapons... huh... maybe he would have killed them anyway lol.
@@Shocktimus989 you’re welcome man! Small skill but skill! Thanks man! I have so much random knowledge. Yeah he sucked for being anti-clone but he could have grown to be better later. Agreed so much man. Howzer in ES armor is hard. Yeah he probably would still have shot them because he’s mostly evil at this time. Also it’s interesting that the empire gave Crosshair two new members, I get one to replace the old guy but two is odd, I think this is either because they had to many troopers or they really saw bad batch as a threat. I’m also gonna make my own video talking about why I think ES troopers are under used
@@Anttheman85 I think you're spot on about how adding two members might be in response to the Batch. Since Rampart even says that the Ryloth incident got his attention. Right on! Best of luck in putting it together!
correction about the Tales of the Empire portion, they are labelled on wookiepedia as Purge Troopers and the early purge troopers were the last batch of clone troopers, and the armor is slightly different from Crosshair's elite squad
VERY fascinating, and also quite strange... Every detail about them is nearly identical from all I've seen. The visor, the darker lines down the middle of the helmet and arms. It genuinely seems like an improved version for the Tales art style. Obviously Wookieepedia is a very viable source, but if there's anything official confirming that, I'd love to see it!
Wish there was some continuity in the Bad Batch about the elite squad, maybe Commandos being upgraded to these elite troopers, and, like fortress inquisitorious, they guard mount Tantiss too. Perhaps the CX troopers were Hemlock's version of upgrading the elite squad
I totally agree. At first it seems like it's just limited to these 4-6, then all of the sudden there's 20+ in the Fortress. I could totally see that being a thing, sort of the next step, them being a specialized unit for the most secret and protected bases.
@@Shocktimus989 Yeah, perhaps there could've been an evolution to show how elite squad troopers were being redesigned as CX troopers by Hemlock so the appearance of CX clones in s2 would've made more sense like "ooh right, they ARE kind of like crosshair's old squad"
