I am so glad the fixed most of the overblown exposure on the white sky

Why is there so much edge sharpening and DNR in a film that required neither. In Lord of the Rings it's poorly used but being shot on 35mm film there's a "reason" but this? It looks really bad on the wraiths at Dol Guldur.

As a fan, it pains me to say, but this is one of the ugliest films I've ever seen. Half of it might as well be a video game cutscreen.
